We ordered ours and only got charged $3.00 postage (so did some other people we know). Maybe it might be worth giving them another ring to see if you get somebody different.

I wouldn't risk not ordering in advance - most nights are usually sell-outs. Also, it's not unusual for some CMs to be unfamiliar with the procedure for shipping to the UK. I had exactly the same problem when I booked mine a couple of years back. Just keep trying until you get someone who knows what they're doing.
