Once contracts and all paperwork is received by DVC, how long before deed and membership card is received? Thanks

After closing is completed and the deed is recorded with the county, it may still take several weeks for your documents to arrive (and even longer for the blue membership card).

However, you should be in the DVC system computer within a week after closing and will be able to make reservations at that time. A temporary membership card usually comes with the initial post-closing documents from DVC.

I finished paying at the end of July. Still have not received the deed. Do not expect fast service. They claim that within 90 days of them getting it through the Orange County office they will have the deed to you. The real issue is how fast they file with Orange County. I had to call twice to check on the process before they sent the paperwork to the County. So for a quick timeline, paid in late July, late October the paperwork was forwarded, still have not seen the deed.

I got them on Nov. 10. However, I have heard that was an exception to the rule.

We closed the Friday after Thanksgiving the 25th?? Anyway no cards or anything for me yet.
