Dedicated December Exercise Thread

Ok, adding another 240 minutes of wdw walking to my total. So now I'm at 850/1000! Tomorrow is our last day so I will end up with 30 min to do between Christmas and New Years. I'm planning to go out for a run on Saturday so I should be able to do it. Plus I've eaten so much I will need to work out the other five days too ( not christmas though - unless you count hosting Christmas dinner as exercise).

I cannot add... My total is 750/1000, not 850.

70 minute walk/run this AM ... and I got rained on at the end. I'm planning to go out again either Thursday or Friday, but I'm hoping I can get a little more exercise in between now and then.

772/1000

I will get in a walk aside from the walking I will do to finish off Christmas gift shopping I gotta do yet.

770/1000

Adding 30 minutes of yoga from yesterday.

Last night we were at my sister's house for a party for the last night of Hanukkah. DS9 felt very tired and didn't want to eat anything. We checked his temperature and it was 100.4. DH took him home and I stayed with DS7. DS9 fell asleep about 15 minutes after they got home, at 7:15. He woke up this morning around 10 saying he felt fine and his temperature was 99.8. We were supposed to go to an Italian restaurant tonight, like we always do Christmas Eve, but of course we're not going. But the local pizza place that makes fantastic Italian food is delivering until 4:00 today and open until 8:00, so we will order from there. Tomorrow I'm still making the ham I was planning to make, and my parents will play it by ear and see if they feel comfortable coming over. We usually go to a close family friend on Christmas but she's a nurse and has to work tomorrow, so we are going to her house to celebrate on Saturday instead. I hope my son is fine by then and none of us catch this. I'm still waiting to see if we catch the stomach bug that has been going around in the family too. I'm at the point where I want to just soak my whole house in bleach!

830/1000

Adding in 60 minutes of cardio and abs today.

DS9 is feeling much better today. No fever for a few hours this afternoon. Now it's back to 99.8. Not too bad. He said nothing hurts him and he feels fine. I hope that continues.

Merry Christmas to all who are celebrating tonight and tomorrow! May you get everything you wish for this year! :)

70 minute walk/run this AM

842/1000

I hope all those who celebrate had a wonderful Christmas!

1286/1500

Only 5 days left! We can do it! :cheer2:

I feel like I haven't been on here in forever! We went out of town just to relax as a family and DS2 spread his cold/fever to the rest of us! Pretty much everybody is miserable. Christmas was leftovers! So, so sad. I have a bit more energy today, so hope to accomplish something! Maybe I can talk somebody into going for a walk with me later.

Hope everybody has a great weekend! :)

75 minute walk. Brings me to 660/1000. Been so busy with Christmas and out of town guests. One last party tomorrow and then back to my regular schedule. I already download a new audible book ( voyager - the third in the outlander series) to listen to while I'm on the treadmill. Hope everyone is doing well!

748/1200

A bit of running, a bit of walking. (and lots of fudge and cookies and sweets)

Oh bang zoom your family sure had a rough time of it with the sickness! I hope you are all feeling better soon. DS seems to be fighting a small cold but it doesn't seem to be preventing him from playing his new Infinity game so our house seems pretty happy this am. I'm planning to go out for a run today but my mom informed me I have to take my sister and grandma out to lunch and we have a surprise party to attend tonight. I still have tons or laundry to do from the trip and we really need to go to the grocery store. I have to figure out what we need for our New Year's Eve party. If anyone has ideas I'd be happy to hear them! We invited 4 families that my son (and we) are friends with so it will be an afternoon early evening thing. 9 kids ages 3-6! Yikes! I better put cleaning up the Legos and playroom on the list. And I'm leaning towards pizza but I need something fun for them to do at midnight. (6pm) perhaps an idea will come to me on my run.

Hi! Thanks for your concern, the boys have been doing very well. My nephew (he will be a year old on wednesday) was sick in the car yesterday when they were on their way home from visiting DBIL's family upstate NY. My sister was on the phone with the pediatrician who suspects carsickness but she is bringing him in to be seen this morning.

For New Year's Eve, whenever I have it at my house we order a large 4-foot hero, and we make a bunch of appetizer type foods to munch on. My sister makes hot crab dip, I make hot spinach and artichoke dip, I make a layered Mexican bean dip with guacamole, my mom makes pastry wrapped Brie with jam. And we make a bunch of desserts. Since you're starting earlier in the day, and there will be a good amount of kids, pizza is a great idea. At midnight we put on the local channel 11 because they have a marathon of my favorite tv show of all time, The Honeymooners, every New Year's Eve into New Year's Day.

Ok time to add some minutes!

120 for dec 23 - walking around the parks
10 for dec 25 - just some of my pt leg exercises
50 for today- beautiful day for a run

930/1000 and 4 days to go! It will be tight because of the holiday but I think I can make it!

I was able to update before we left and we're now a great wolf lodge! It's too hard to update on my phone so I'll do it when I'm back in Monday. Hope everyone had a great Christmas!
