Decorating your resort room?

We did this a couple of years ago, but I haven't heard anything about it recently. It was a lot of fun, so maybe you can start it up again!

I remember reading on another thread (which I can't find now) that some Dissers were putting together a box of decorations to pass around @Pop (kinda like a fridge swap...I remember the Disser who had the idea needed someone to take over the thread b/c she was pregnant...if that rings a bell...) Does anyone here know if this box still exists? I would like to add/donate my window/door decorations after we are done with them if it does (rather than bring them home!)

Yesterday at Big Lots, I bought wall clings that are Mickey and Friends. They are the big ones like you are decorating a bedroom, but they were only five dollars for the entire pack. I bought them and thought I would use them next April when we go. They were in the paint and wallpaper department, but said they would come right off.

So, the wall decorations will work for windows too? Will they work on doors as well? What about the window clings, will they stick to the doors? We are staying at POR is that matters. BTW, does anyone have a photo of the doors or windows at POR? Decorated or undecorated?

I was at the Dollar Tree and they had Mickey Club HOuse people... Mickey, Goofy, Donald, Minnie...those were new to me...I also found Bruce from Nemo and Squirt (the turtle)

These are clings that you would use on a bedroom wall, I found them on a wallpaper website. We had to put them on the outside of the window. Nobody seemed to bother them at all.

Just thought I would let everyone know: Wal-Mart is putting out their Halloween decorations. They have some of the most cute glow in the dark ghost and smiling pumpkin window clings. In fact, I bought some for my MNSSHP window on September 5th, hope no one will think it is to early to put out pumpkins and ghosts.

The window clings are only $2.00 a pack. Happy Decorating!

The 7th is my son's birthday! We will be celebrating it while we are there; in fact, our window will also have birthday signs in it. I'm going to try to decorate it while he plays in the bathtub. I want to make it a big surprise - we have never decorated before but have always commented on everyone elses' rooms.

Are these just as easy to remove as regular window clings or do they leave a residue after you take them down? I've never tried using the ones found in the wallpaper aisle, but I have seen some fun ones I'd like to decorate with if they're easy to put up and take down.

If you would like, I can make a Lime Green Mickey Head that has your Screen Name on it...

This is 3 inches by 3 inches, it is meant to be a tag for you to wear to the parks on strollers, bags, etc... but it can be made bigger for your window or door... just PM me, and MAKE SURE you give me your screen name, email address, and if you want it as a tag... or for your door. Or I can make it blank, if you want people to sign it.

wow the cling on window decs sounds like a fast idea. DSl were just talking and didnt think we would do anything to windows now I think we will. Will also have a thing on door for dis to sigh so please look for us. Will be at por from 9/7 to 9/12. Also haveing a meet that tuesday at the bar next to the pool around 4:00 I think. have a thread about it. thanks for the ideas.
