Decorating your resort room?

They come in different colors. Here is a picture of the pack.

I like this idea I'll have to try Micheaels or AC Moore!!

They are clings. I got the cling film at Michael's and cut the large Mickeys using a cookie cutter and the smaller ones from a home depot mickey head.

Good luck and post pictures when you return!

What a great tip! Can't wait to try this! Thanks!

Here's some pictures from our trip in May, for my 21st birthday.

All of this was made with my Cricut! I <3 my Cricut. Disney font/cartridges.

The garland on the inside of the windows (on the sides) is mickey heads taped to fishing line. The things at the tops of my window are plastic heart bracelets (like Dollar Store), Mickey Heads, and curling ribbon.

We stayed at POFQ. At this hotel and Riverside, you have to take the window trim into account when designing, and it's best to do pieces rather than a poster that would be cut up by the grid.

Thanks soo much for the info on the cling vinyl. I thought I knew everything that was at michaels, but I've missed that. Ummmm, learn something new every day.

Okay, that Donald window is Awesome! I've got so many new ideas now!! Thanks for posting the pictures!

I love the room you just posted! It's GORGEOUS! Where did you get the Donald and Daisy Duck things?

By the way, I'm staying at POFQ from July 1st to July 9th. I'll be decorating as well :) Any ideas. It's my birthday :) I love the princesses!

Also, do you put your designs on the inside or outside of the window and has anybody ripped off your stuff?

I love your decorations. My niece will have her b-day while we are there next year so I will have to secretly decorate her room. I have a cricut as well. This site is just great. :cool1: :thumbsup2

Thanks everyone! I put a lot of work into those windows! Mousekeeping etc really enjoyed them too.

The Donald and Daisy items were made with the Cricut as well. There are two different Mickey and Friends Cartridges, one is just images and the other is font/images. The Faires, Grumpy, and Mushu on my parents' window were made from the two Princess cartridges (Dreams Come True and Happily Ever After). Winnie the Pooh is also available.

If you're thinking about getting a Cricut, look at WalMart. They have the regular machine for less than $200, plus great prices for cutting mats and replacment blades. It may seem like a big investment, but once you get one you will be amazed at all the stuff you can make!

Has one tried the wall stickers they sell at dollar tree to decorate? I found these cute ones that said princess and had different designs on them. Also another set that had the letters like princess crown style. Really pretty. I bought some and i'm thinking of doing my door with that. I will show you pics when I get back, but i'm just wondering if others have used those. I hope they don't stick to much on the door... I don't want to get them made at me for peeling the paint... Anyone???

Hi
I have used these on my wall at home and they do stick good, but not to good where they peel off paint. I got a few different kinds there too, I was thinking of using them for the bathroom mirrors while we are there.

Let us know how it works out!

Dana

AHH so many to choose from:hyper: Im starting with the HD idea first. I've got the hook up in the paint department.

Thanks to whomever said to microwave the HD mickey heads. They peeled off so much better after I put them in the microwave. Now to decide what to do with them.

I am so excited to find this thread!!

I have Mickey heads font on my computer. Every letter is a mickey head with a letter inside. I am going to make some kind of sign with that using lime green mickey heads!

I've got to go to home depot, I had no idea they had mickey head paint samples!!
