I got to have something "Disney" to do for 30 more days until we go. My DH thinks we are all loons. "He said other people put junk on their hotel window and doors? And they want those things your making?"

It is very lonely here also with no friends that share my love of disney. We are planning on going with a family from church in January. The mom from the other family called my cell phone today while I was at dollar tree looking for items to have a "tink" visit at night for our kids-I told her my idea and she said "you're kiding right?" When I told her I was serious she said and I quote "you are a little over the top with this Disney stuff Shauna. I am worried about you", I proceeded to tell her I was just fine and that after she goes to Disney for the first time she may have a better understanding of why I love it so much. My DH also felt getting that many mickey heads from HD was stealing. Count me as a diamond in the rough thief!

Oh Shauna! I totally understand! I was trying to get my Sis in law to come and bring her kids, and when she found out that i get all Disney outfits for the kids, and we buy the dining plan, she was like ummm, I think we will do something different! LOL

So I am bringing my other sister in law, who is having a good time going along with all my questions and choices.

Okay I have to ask................What is a tink visit???????

SOO funny! This sounds like my hubby, he is like why are you filling up our computer with all these mickey heads! LOL I just tell him, I like them! LOL I sooo am not going to tell anyone I am decorating until we get there. When we went last time, hubby complained all the way up til we went, on the way there, and all the way through check in. Once he saw the rest of the hotel he started to feel the magic. Now he just loves it, which is a suprise cuz he is a home body! LOL

Anyone have pics of their doors to post???? I wanna see MORE!

A tink visit is when you leave little items in the room for your child from Tink. We do this nightly and ds loves to see the little gifts she has left.I try to make it a gift he can use for he next day.

Do you put a note with it, or do you just say Tink left it? LOL I REALLY think my kids would just love this, but I want to do it right, lol.

Sorry I am just getting back to you. I leave a note.You can put on it "You've been Tinked" or "Tink was here". I do something like that with a small message about the next day.

We leave in 8 days to go to WDW!!!! I am very interested to know what people use to put up their decorations. Most of ours will go on the outside window because they are window decals. I found window decals for Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Pooh, and Disney Princesses at our local Dollar Tree Stores! I wasn't sure whether I needed to use tape or something else to hang up the Mickey heads we took just today from Home Depot(I am laminating them at school tomorrow!) and the name signs I made for the members of my family. I will be sure to take pictures and send them back to this thread. I'm also doing something different for our message board. I cut out Mickey Mouse's head from a piece of posterboard. I plan on laminating it and attaching a VisVis marker to it. I already have some magnetic tape I can use to attach it to the door of our resort room. We are staying at ASM's as well! Thanks for passing any info. along!!!!!
