Decorating your resort room?

We are going January 11th to the 18th

I was going to do some marathon stuff. I got this from AMY on the DISign board.

My kids 10 and 3 will also be along and I thought of maybe doing something High School Musical for the 10 year old and maybe Lightening McQueen for the 3 year old. All of us really love Pirates so I thought I could do something with that too.

Oh my.... Glad I came across this thread! I would have felt left out!! We normally stay outside of Disney. Any thoughts on how I can decorate for my daughter's 6th Birthday and Christmas theme? We are going Dec 9-15.

We will be arriving on Halloween. I plan on bringing my carved pumpkin with us to put in the window. Will use a battery light instead of a lit candle.

Thanks Nettii. Learned how to do these from the carvingpumpkins.com site. It is amazing what some of these folks do with pumpkins. We sure get the kids by the house to look at this one. Nice to see lots of mouse fans around.

Would it be weird for me to decorate my window at CSR? It seems like most of you guys are decorating the windows in the values.

We are going right after New Years (2-7) and I would love to do a happy new year theme along with a celebration sign of some kind (trip is celebrating being done with graduate school classes, with a only 15 week intership left until graduation)

Having read this thread, I'm planning to do mine at the Contemporary next summer. "Weird" or not, my kids will get a kick out of it, and that's the effect I'm shooting for!

I've only ever decorated my window at values, but we're staying at CSR in 24 days and I'm planning on doing a Christmas theme!

The Pop & Coronado windows will be decorated and Im decorating at BCV
I have 50s birthday clingons and it will only take a few minutes to put them in the windows so why the heck not?

We are staying at CSR Dec 9-15 and we are ready to decorate our window . I got the Christmas princess window clings and Pooh at DollarTree today and my lights for the inside window. Now this may be a dumb question but the clings have to be put on the outside window, will they be ok? I mean I sure nobody would stoop low enough to steal. I also made my trip to Depot and got my green & red (for Christmas) mickey heads along with the lime green.

We will have 2 rooms at ASMu from 11/26 to 12/5 and will be going ALL OUT for Christmas!!! I have mini lights, lots of clings (snowflakes, santa and his reindeer-8ft long!!!, and a nativity for each window) I will also be hanging these in lime, dark green, red, and blue from the lights and on the door as a gift for other Dissers that come by to visit my room!!!

Hi,

I read on here that people are using the suction cups with hooks so I picked up some at Target. The Dollartree also had them too.

We've used these at home, and will take them to Disney World with us. They are removable and don't leave marks or take paint off etc etc.
