Decorating your resort room?

Ok... Here is my update for my window decorations. I have mail ordered blue lights for my window. I need to still purchase garland. I have decided to split my window for the duration of our stay. One week I will have Lilo and Stitch, and the other week will be Disney Villans.

SO after working many hours to get the materials around.. (coloring pages, markers, color pencils, laminator, laminate sheets)... and trying to color all these (while working 60hours a week at my job) I have managed to color, cut and laminate my window decals! I just now need to find time to trim them out and prepare them for our trip (november 3rd!!!! yahoo!!). Thought I would share some of my work so far.

PS sorry about the two camera "hams". They love the camera.

WOW!! Those look so good. I know you laminated them, but how do you make them stick to the windows?

We found some "double sided removeable tape" in the stationary section at Wal*Mart. I'm not real sure how well this will work. I'm bringing alcohol pads to clean up any gummy residue.

I do not know the exact size of it. We made it out of black and tan poster board. We made it as big as the bottom of our suitcase so it could be packed without getting folded. The bandana is actual fabric that we glued onto it. All of the Mickey heads are the paint chips from HD that we laminated.

I am HAPPY!!! I got halloween purple lights and will add green and gold at Christmas to make my Mardi gras colors for my window!!!

I like the halloween purple b/c the other purples out at Christmas look more pink to me!!

I bought the Christmas ones from Dollar Tree. I got Mickey and Friends and Pooh and Friends.

we're staying at ASMu 1/6-1/12. My daughter and I talked about it this afternoon and she wants a Mickey theme to decorate our room, so we're going to start hitting HD for the green Mickey heads for the door, and going to get some Mickey clings for the windows, maybe some red and black lights in the windows if I can find them too.
