Decided to not risk construction noise at WLV

I have a reservation March 12-17 with our 5 yr. old grandson. DH wanted to stay at WL but we switched to BLT. I was also concerned about construction. Glad we got the BLT since we will spend most of our time at MK. Good luck!

Don't switch to BWV, there are many complaints about the construction noise there as well.

Wow its funny you said that because we wound up getting reservations for a split stay BWV 2 nights then BLT 4 nights. I've read the complains about the paint and off gas smells in the resort. Haven't seen anything about noise. I was also under the impression that the renovation was scheduled to be complete by the end of 2015.

I was there 2 weeks ago, there was some noise but not a lot during my 6 days there.

As far as I saw the first complaint about an odor was this past week. I don't believe the number of reports noise or odor are filling the boards, right now. I would request room away from construction and make note that I have a child that naps mid-day. I would think trying to switch again might be difficult.

We stayed BWV in August in refurb studio, no noise no odor.
