Decent pizza delivered to resort?

I'm going to revisit this thread in mid-November after our tip.

Here's a question for the masses until then-

When you call up to order, do you order a:

1) Pie (if not ordering any extra toppings)
2) Cheese Pie
3) Cheese Pizza
4) Cheese Pizza Pie

Anything other than (1) is wrong, just so you know.

If I were going to order cheese as the only topping on my pizza (which I never do), I would probably say " I would like a (whatever size) cheese pizza". And I would still be asked, even here in New Jersey, "just cheese"?

Another north Jersey girl here... that was what I was told so like you, I usually just stay away. I did ive in Chicago for a number of years and cultivated a taste for deep dish but that's a whole different food stuff LOL Definitely not "pie"!

If I really need a fix, it's Via Napoli... I have tried Flippers which wasn't great, but I guess the best of a poor lot.

At least Via has wood fired oven! We haven't tried it yet, not next trip, but our upcoming May 2017 we'really staying at YC, so planning a lunch at Via one day! Looking forward to checking it out!

Never have seen another local person on these boards! We are right down the road from you in Bedford--small world. Crazy as it sounds, some of my favorite pizza is Dino's in the mall, lol.

Hello from 'Toonatown! You con't go wrong with Dino's. It reminds me of pizza on the boardwalk in New Jersey, which is a good thing.

Good morning. I had to revisit this thread as we are now mere days away from departure. Flippers or Giordanos. Giordanos or Flippers. Ah, the choices.

One thing is for sure of course- that I will not be calling any # from the flyer.

Don't bother trying to eat pizza there. Just accept that it doesn't exist. Enjoy the fried chicken and ribs and everything else in Florida and get your pizza on the way home from JFK.

My last name ends in an O and I ate Benny Tudinos every night when I was poor.

We really like Giordano's. Then again, we have nothing like that at home.
