Just wondering if any of you have recommendations, as we'll probably use 2 TS credits in one day and look to have pizza delivered later in the week.

When answering, please be reminded that Dominoes, Little Caesars, Pizza Hut and Papa Johns do not qualify as food, much less pizza.

Thanks in advance for any feedback you might have.

Bonus points for those who are answering if your last name ends in an "O" and you reside anywhere on Long Island, Bensonhurst/Bay Ridge, Jersey City/Hoboken, Boston or Providence. No offense of course to those who do not.

I know nothing about good pizza as my hometown only has dominos and papa john's. But, Flippers is very popular.

How 'bout NonnaT, originally from Brooklyn, now a nutmegger?:rotfl2:

No advice, we NEVER eat pizza at WDW. CT is the home of "best Pizza in the country" Pepe'S in New Haven!

Unfortunately central Florida isn't exactly known for it's great pizza... Pizza Hut or Dominos would still be worlds above the Disney pizza delivery option in my opinion.

Our family had Flippers last time we were there and everyone enjoyed it - I think it's better than the chain pizza.

well...my maiden name ends in an O, and I'm from NNJ, though not JC or Hoboken, and the answer to your question is don't expect 'decent' delivery pizza like you would get around here.
That said, we like to order Giordano's sometimes when we are in WDW - not 'real' pizza, more like a casserole, haha, but it tastes good.

My family ordered Flippers pizza recently. I didn't have any, but it sure looked good and everyone seemed to enjoy it.

We ordered Flippers once when we were rained in at our Treehouse Villa. It took FOREVER (nearly 2 hours) to get it, likely due to the fact that many people had the same idea. We thought it was pretty good, much better than most WDW resort pizza, other than Via Napoli.

When we visited the following June, we had our car. We drove to Flippers Rolling Oaks one evening, which was a short drive from WDW property. We also enjoyed eating at the restaurant. It's nothing fancy, but the service was good and fast. It's also a much cheaper alternative than Disney food.

We recently had a very good pizza from Room Service at Yacht Club! It wasn't even horribly expensive, around $20 if I remember correctly. Plus they brought up a white tablecloth and set the table for us. It felt very fancy for a night in :P

Thanks for your feedback everyone. Giordanos sounds great.

Whatever you do, do not try to order Papa Johns! We tried ordering from 3 different locations, all near Disney, and not one person we spoke to knew where Animal Kingdom Lodge was! Seriously?! How do you live/work near WDW and not know if you deliver to a Disney resort much less how to get there. We ended up eating the overpriced flatbread pizza from The Mara. It was nasty. We should've gotten the frozen Red Baron pizza from the gift shop. Good luck!

Omg, our last trip we wanted to order and the CM gave us the number to the only place that would deliver at that time. I can't remember the name of the company (it wasn't a national chain), but it was HORRIBLE. We did not even finish one slice each. Not to mention the cost was astronomical. We will never order pizza delivery at Disney again. Was a complete waste.

Before reading the OP I was coming to say something along the lines of "I know it's Papa Johns, but we ordered on our trip and our pizza was amazing" We stayed at AKL and ordered online. Pizza was delivered probably in 30 minutes or so without question. We had the bacon cheeseburger pizza and o m g. It was soo good :)
