December Wishes/Illuminations

We're planning our first Disney trip for Dec 17-22. I've been looking at the schedule for Wishes and Illuminations, but I only see wishes on the schedule 12/17, and nothing for Illuminations. Will they have anything in place of the shows? Thanks!

I can't believe they would cut those shows, especially at that time of the year. They are probably just waiting to fill in the schedule. The times vary some over the holidays.

After the 17th, the rest of the year should be the special Holiday Wishes (you won't need to pay for a MVMCP to see the fireworks or parade)

most likely the Christmas shows but i am going the same time and it is confusing to me as well.

Illuminations runs every night at 9:30pm in December. We have been vacationing in Orlando every December since 2008.

Don't worry
There will be Wishes and Illuminations on those nights. I agree Illuminations is always at 9:30 during the Christmas holidays. The times for Wishes may yet to be determined. Disney has been slow to update their schedules for several months now.

We're arriving the 17th as well but leaving the 23rd. I too, am having a slightly difficult time with scheduling what night to watch Wishes because of the lack of a schedule this far in advance. I do wonder about the FOF parade, also, especially since the last MVMCP is not until the 22nd this year. I'm wondering if FOF will be every day that week until the 23rd which would then be replaced with the Once Upon a Christmastime parade. Our last trip to WDW was the week of Christmas and the afternoon parade was the Christmas parade. While I really love the Christmas parade, I would also love the chance to see FOF. Any thoughts???

MVMCP is on December 15, 16, 18 & 22. So Wishes should be on December 17, 19, 20 & 21st. Starting on December 23rd it will be the Once Upon Christmastime parade & Holiday Wishes. As OP stated IllumiNations runs every night.
