December weather had me so nervous!

We went December of 2015 and only one day was cold until noon. We had temps in the 80's.

It is a gamble in December, but for us that has always been a little bit of the fun. We have been lucky enough that we have never been freezing in coats all week. We have been in shorts and short sleeved shirts all week, but we have also had trips were we were in shorts and short sleeved shirts and hot part of the trip, and in full coats and gloves freezing another part of the trip. The weather changes fast that time of year!! I don't mind the temperature, the only thing I minded was the year we had what we like to refer to as the "monsoon" for 2 days and it was a cold monsoon, not a warm monsoon. Even then though, we threw on ponchos and kept going and had a great time and have some great memories. On our wet MK day, I recall my DD splashing in puddles and looking up at me with big eyes and saying "Mommy, this is the best day ever, you never let me play outside in the rain at home!" and our AK day, there was no line for Safari and we were allowed to just stay on and keep riding until we were ready to get off. We only went twice because we were headed to either an ADR or LK show, but the people behind us stayed on for a 3rd time. Nothing you can do about the weather, but Christmas season in WDW is great even if the weather doesn't wind up perfect!!!

from our experience, weather in December is unpredictable. one year in 2009 we had nice weather cloudy, humid, little rain. In 2011 on our MVMVMCP night it was freezing cold we were not prepared for. we will be down December 2016 and Ill pack the gloves, hats, fleeces, rain ponchos along with the shorts and sandals. Being prepared is all you can do.
