Hello everyone,

This is the first time I've posted on this board and I was hoping someone could help me out. I'm trying to convince my DH to take our son to Disneyland for his 3rd birthday. We went to WDW last October when he was 22 months old and he had so much fun except that he didn't do too well in the heat. I know it won't be as hot in California in Dec. but what exactly can we expect for temperatures (we average around 14F to -22F here in Saskatchewan in Dec so I know it will be nicer than that!). Specifically, will it be warm enough to swim (I've only been to California in the summer so I have no idea about the winters there).

Also, what will the crowds be like in the first 2 weeks of Dec. I noticed Disneyland's web site said that off season was considered to end mid-November but I thought crowds might be reasonable in the first part of Dec. but am I wrong?

Thanks for the help.

Hi Stephen's Mom, and welcome to the Disneyland board! :D

The weather here in December is generally moderate to cool, with highs in the upper 60s and lows down in to the 40s at night. Sometimes we do get the odd warm streak in December and hit the 80s, but lately our winters have been much cooler than normal. Not warm enough for ME to swim (I am cold if it is below 70 degrees) but many out-of-town folks will swim in heated pools in 65 degree weather. And overall, still warmer than Canada though, no doubt! :D

Crowds aren't bad at all in early December, especially during the week.

Have fun! :D
