December Waitlist

I have a quick question. We were originally scheduled to be in WDW from December 10-14. I have a reservation at OKW. Well, our plans changed and we are now going the week before. There is nothing available. What do you guys think are the odds of a studio opening up at any DVC resort? I just don't know what to do.

Wow, I know we'll be there the week you originally had. If I knew that I had to change for sure, I would book somthing for cash and waitlist, probably at OKW or SSR on a day by day basis. I'm guessing you'll get it that way.

We booked that week around this time last year and there was absolutely nothing, no room type, no dvc available. I was not surprised since I had tried waitlisting for this week for 3 different years, and never got anything. So we booked AKL on points. It was actually the last on site resort we could book using points for the first week of December. Good luck.

I canceled my December trip last Friday and I'm sure I made someone happy. I gave up a studio at the BWV--standard view for December 8-12. So people do cancel.

I think it's a long shot. If you haven't already, make a back up plan.

I altered 19th-22nd Dec and went on the waitlist for studio in BWV. I was on the list less than 1 month and a studio came up. That was only a couple weeks ago. Then they had plenty of accommadation in SSR. Have you tried there ?

I just closed on a DVC at SSR. I can call Sept. 17 for mytrip. After reading the Dec waitlist I am discouraged about getting a DVC studio for Dec. 2-7, 2007. I am new at this, does anyone have any tips for me when I call DVC on Sept. 17th??

We had to waitlist for the 31st of December. However, ours did come through last week. We had that night booked on CRO just in case it did not come through. I would definitly make a back up plan. Good luck

I am on the waitlist for ANY studio in ANY resort for that time frame. I am so hoping it works out. If not, we will book at a resort for cash. Just really hoping we don't have to. It sounds like is really is 50/50 at this point.
