December room rate promos?

Does anyone know if the on site hotels at DL ever offer promotions for early December? Thinking about a surprise visit for DW 40th. Been to WDW many times, but never DL. If so, when are they released. Would like to stay on site, but GN hotels are so much cheaper it is hard to justify.

They often keep an eye on the special offers page of disneyland.com. We will probably see something in September.
