December MaGiC or was it?!? TR starts Pg. 39

Our family likes Donald's Breakfastasaurus. We try to eat there every trip, especially if you get an 8 AM seating and can get into the park before it opens. We're usually done in time to be out at the rope drop for Dinoland and while Jake and I get fastpasses for Everest, DH and Em can hit all those rides. They do have krispy kreme and a really good fruit and yogurt bar.
Sounds like you've got a great plan going!

Hoping to get 8 am seating. You know, we haven't been since Everest opened....

Love this report. Great idea to have stuff shipped Fed Ex to your room. We are planning to do a light breakfast in the room too before heading out; poptarts, cereal, fruit.

Anyway, great report! :thumbsup2

So, as you all know, we want to stay at POFQ & I am ready now to book the room - any specifics I should request? I guess what matters most is convenience since I'll be w/2 kids. We'll have a stroller. I hear this resort is small so that any building is good. But anyone have anything I really should attempt to request that might benefit us?

I'm so excited for you!! You might consider requesting Building Four. We've stayed there every time and even the backside is close to the bus stop and food court. It is not however close to the pool, but it's closer than others. Oh how I wish I was there right now.....

Is Building 4 non smoking?

Well, I have been working on Day 4 - flip flopping ideas back & forth but I tell you, my mind & attention has been some place else these last few days.

Have any of you checked out the talent in the Creative Designs Section? They make really nice graphics to be ironed onto t-shirts, so of course I want to learn how to do that too. Which lead me to getting Photo Impact, which now made me want to learn how to do a picture, turn it b&w, then make something pop out in color. I cannot figure it out though. :sad2: But I am not giving up yet.

But low & behold...I was checkin the site & saw thet MVMCP tickets go on sale May 1  I need to get things going!! I know I want tickets for Dec. 6 but did notice that wasn't a discount date :confused3

And I really need to call & book the rooms. I will try to do that tonight.

As for now, let me go lurk around here a bit then go back to the drawing board on those pictures....Any of you can help?

I got it!! I got it!! Although not 100% good - but I'll get it better - this is DS1 by the way

I took the plunge & called. Spoke to Monroe. I requested, in this order, n/s,
1st floor, close to bus stop, courtyard view.

Now, I was only planning on booking room & DDP but Monroe told me that I had to go the tickets as well since it was a package deal. And since its a package deal the remainder of my balance is due 45 days prior to arrival. I don't like that. :sad2: I am used to paying the remainder upon arrival. I realize it'll save some time at checkin  but I still don't like it.

Then he offers me trip insurance, which I am seriously thinking about. It would be $119 & it would protect my money that I have to pay 45 days prior & my flight. 45 days prior puts me in Oct (16th, to be exact ;) ) and that just seems like so much could happen in a month & a half.

I am used to booking everything separately & driving so if we wouldn't show all we'd loose is the $200 deposit but this time it would be alot more. Decisions, decisions.....

And today MVMCP tickets go on sale - lets not forget about that. :woohoo:

What is that website that you made that picture on? I think it is great.

DAY 4

Monday, December 3

This will be our MGM day. For some reason I think it will be their late evening night too but we do not really intend on staying for it.

We'll eat a little something in the room - maybe even try the beignets. Remember I am from the land of beignets - New Orleans - so we have to try them atleast while we are there.

We'll head out to the park early but not early enough for the rope drop. I am not even sure what they do there for it. Anyway we should get there around 9ish.

We will probably head to the big rides first, then maybe head to the Little Mermaid show & such. By then it will probably be lunch time. I really wanted to try 50's Primetime & originally scheduled it for dinner tonight and missing Fantasmic but....Dh said he really likes Fantasminc (so do I, I just thought we'd do things differently) so I had to re-think  So I decided we could do 50's for lunch.

After lunch we'll continue in the parks with the rides that'll be okay being we just ate. But I really think anything except RNR & TOT will be okay. But we'll have done those earlier in the day. And there are still some shows to see. We probably will purposely miss the Indiana Jones show & Beauty & the Beat (my favorite) today; to save time. Instead we'd really like to see the new Nemo show (new for us) & the Lights, Motor Action Stunt Show (again new to us). Also the parade here, we never saw it at a good spot. We've always watched it from a distance. So that's something I'd like to try. I'll have to sit down & really plan - meaning how long each show is, etc. so that can happen. If we have to miss anything else today in order to do that, we will because we will return another day for what we miss. Also, if the High School Pep Rally is still going on - DS1 lovesssss that movie, so I know we'll have to see that.

Now for dinner. DH nominated ABC Comm. but we have already eaten here before. I wanted to try new places. It has to be CS though. We've eaten at the Backlot Express before too. I was thinking of trying some place on Sunset Blvd., like Rosie's or Catalina Eddie's - not sure about this yet but where ever we get something from (notice I said get) I think we'll bring it with us & get seats for Fantasmic - not sure what seating it'll be for as I didn't plan out by minutes, but thats the plan. I am hoping it will be MGM's late night & maybe it'll work for us - maybe everyone else will be staying in the park which might make it easier to leave after Fantasmic for us. I hope so. Thats why I wanted to skip Fantasmic anyway but gotta make DH happy....

Looking great. Good idea to keep DH happy, we want then to keep loving coming to DIsney:rotfl: By the way, Beauty and the Beast is my favorite too. I am pretty sure that Fantasmic is my DH's favorite also.
