November hours released & Nov. 30 is the official start of our vacation

I guess I have really started buying stuff for our vacation. And yes, its still 200+ days away.

I plan on making little gift baskets for the kids. Remember I am shipping some stuff ahead of time to the Resort? Well, I'll include the stuff to do this & make it while at Disney & just surprise the kids with it. I like saving money, what can I say. Too cheap to get one of those places to do it for me.


A few weeks ago I bought a Mickey Mouse coloring book & a Donald Duck coloring book at the Dollar Tree - one for each child. Of course I plan on getting some colors later too - but sometimes I see character ones, so I'll be looking out for those.

Well today on the Disney Shopping website, they have $5.00 deals plus $5.00 shipping...so....I ordered a stuffed Donald Duck for DS1 (Taylor) since the only character he wanted to have a meal with was Donald. And for DS2 (Matthew) I got Eyeore. He is too young to really show an interest but his nursery is in Pooh Bear & on his mobile, he loves Eyeore. So thats for vacation baskets.

I also ordered a POC short PJ set for Taylor for his birthday (which is in October but will be Pirate themed) & also a Cars PJ set for my great nephew's birthday in June.

So, all that at $5.00 plus $5.00 shipping for $25.00 - I thought that was really a good deal since its all Disney Merchandise.

DAY 5

Tuesday, Dec. 4

This day will be our official MK day (even though we will have already been here on Day 2) The more I think about it, on Day 2, if you remember, I said I wanted to only do Splash Mtn. but now I am starting to think about maybe doing Fantasyland too, if possible. That way, today we could do everything else. Not 100% sure about the order of things for this day. Hopefully when hours are announced, it'll be easier to plan. All I know for sure is I'd like to try El Pirata for lunch & The Plaza for dinner. It should be a fairly early night. I think the parade will be at 3 p.m. & fireworks at 6 p.m. Another thing I know I want to do is start off in Tomorrowland - we never do & always end up there in the evening, so just to change things around abit.

On another note - our MVMCP tickets came in yesterday My design in Tink (who I LOVE) DH has Incredibles & DS1 has the dwarfs on Splash Mtn. which I think is so great!!

Looks like I may just be by myself here? Oh well, I'll still type away anyway

So, I hear Donald's breakfast over in AK is changing - we absolutely loved Tusker House. But DS1 really wanted to eat with Donald, so I hope at my 180 day window we can make reservations for the "new" Donald's. But I'll have to replan our park plans for that day a bit.

I'll really have to be going over all the eating choices soon - my 180 day is approaching

DAY 6

Wednesday, Dec. 5

Today will be Epcot. No real plan, only I would like to try to eat lunch (or maybe dinner) at Sunshine Seasons. I also thought about eating at the Tangerine Cafe. Looks like you get a lot of food for a CS but to be quite honest - I am not sure what all the food is. I thought about Garden Grill (we've eaten there before, but *remember* I wanted to try new places) & LeCelier, but decided not on these 2 places. Also in touring the World Showcase, I want to start from the right instead of the left - we haven't done that in a while.

DAY 7

Thursday, Dec. 6

Today is our Anniversary!! 11 years!! Has time flown or what? Anyway, we would have been celebrating our 10th last year in WDW but along came DS2. So wherever we may go, I want to get some Anniversary buttons.

Today is our day to sleep in, do whatever we want. If we choose to go to the parks to do some favorites or maybe something we missed - this is the day. But...what I was thinking was to make it to AK for their rope drop & maybe today see the animals in the front that I will be so eager to pass on our AK day. Then head on over on a bus to DTD for an early lunch at Wolfgang Express. Maybe do a bit shopping. Then catch the boat back to POFQ for a swim or naps. I'll try to make ADRS for Crystal palace for around 5 or so & we have MVMCP this night. So if we eat at 5...say we get to MK for 4, ride any of the bigger rides, eat at 5 - be out for about 6 -maybe see fireworks at that time if they have any or ride a few more rides. By 7 we should be ready for the party. I really want to see the shows & parades. If we can throw in a few rides, great but I wanted it to be more a leisure pace. I'll want to catch the early parade because we may have to leave early b/c of DS2.

DAY 8

Friday, Dec. 7

We will have had a late night last night, so again - sleep late. I would like to try to get reservations for O'hana's for around 9:30 am - 10 am (yes that would be considered sleeping late for us). From there I want to go to MGM to see Beauty & the Beast *remember we will have missed it on our MGM day* & basically we'll take it from there. We'll probably go back to POFQ or maybe back to Epcot to do more in Innoventions - infact we'll probably do both. I'll try to make a reservation for Captain Jack's in DTD for dinner - possible around 7pm or so. So we'll really have all day to do whatever. After dinner though, we'll just go on back to the rooms - we leave tomorrow.


DAY 9

Saturday, Dec. 8

Up & at them early - Rise & Shine!!! Our flight leaves at 10:35 am so I am expecting to be ready to leave the hotel at 7:30 am which may give us time for breakfast at the hotel - this time at the food court. Should be our last CS left. Boohoo........

I enjoyed reading your pre-trip report! I am going the same times as you Nov. 28-Dec. 7. It looks like we have some of the same park plans too - AK on Sunday and eating at Donald's New Safari Breakfast!! I am a little sad about this change because we went last year and ate at Donald's Breakfasrous at 8 am. We were right at Dinoland when it opened and had the place to ourselves!! My kids rode the little Dinosaurs three times in a row without having to get off because there was no line! So I guess we will just get on the Safari first thing this time! We will also be at MK on Tuesday! We are going to MVMCP on Tuesday night. I am a TGM fan too! We used him when we went in Nov. 2006 and we just loved it! We definitely used his green days. I am waiting for the end of Nov. LCC to be released and then December will come next month. However, I have a tentative plan but will definitely change if it conflicts with him!

I am glad to see that I am not the only one planning a trip at 200 days out!! (I actually have been planning since Jan when I booked SSR for our trip!!)

I called in this morning bright & early for my ADRs - may I note with a leftover migraine - I'll explain later.

But this is what I got:

12/1 - Wanted Kona for 5:30 dinner but after seeing the December hours decided for 4:30. So I got close to the time I wanted!! Yay!! 1 out 1

12/2 - Wanted Donald's Safari Breakfast - told to call back at a later date - not accepting reservations yet

12/3 - Wanted 50's - got it 2 out 3


12/4 - Wanted The Plaza - said the latest they were taking ressies was 5:45 - I did book it then thought about it & switched to Crystal Palace & I got almost what I wanted - I'll count that as 3 out 4


12/5 - I wanted LeCellier - got it!! 4 out 5


12/6 - Originally wanted Crystal Palace which I had gotten then decided to switch to The Plaza to accomodate our plans for 12/4. That makes 5 out 6

12/7 - I wanted Ohana's at got close to the time wanted & Capt. Jack's - really close - eh? WOOHOO!! 7 out 8

So, I think I done pretty well, huh?

The switch between Crystal Palace & The Plaza probably works better than my initial plans because now we won't be eating a buffet before MVMCP.

Now, you all wanna know about my migraine? I get them from time to time. Well, yesterday I dragged the whole family shopping for clothes. Need I say more?? Seriously though I got it late in the day, took my handy dandy migraine meds & I have the after effects left today.

I did score some decent stuff for the baskets I plan on making for the boys in Disney. Got some crayons with the famous Mouse duo at the Dollar Tree. Also got some pirate birthday party supplies there for DS1's bday in October. At Target I got some light up Mickey lollipops. I'll have to start posting pics of my finds soon.

And for the big purchases...I've been eyeing some luggage. Only $29 for a
29" pullman. Went to admire them again & the were gone. No sign on them. I asked and there were only 2 left just not on display anymore. What do you know...that's the magic # I needed - so I bought them.

Then, at Target, DH found something we've been looking for. A Sit & Stand Stroller - so we got that as well.

What happened to clothes shopping you ask? I just dunno. Gives me a reason to go back today??

Well, I did end up going back shopping but only at Walmart.

I picked up a few things. You know they have Pirates stuff galore right now. For DS1's birthday I got a bath sponge thingy with the skeleton head that squirts, a big red skeleton head fizzie that has a ring in the middle & POC bandaid tatoos. Then I decided to get some of that stuff for their Disney baskets too. So, for DS1 a treasure chest w/6 fizzies & for DS2 some bubble bath.
