Hey everyone!! I just booked DH and I on this cruise for my birthday and our 1st anniversary! Soooo excited! I've cruised on DCL once before and we took our honeymoon on carnival since it was cheap, lol. Wanted to do a longer cruise, but we just don't have the money for it, ya know? Just lucky that we got a great last-minute FL resident deal!

For those of you who have never gone it's AMAZING - kids or no kids. They had to drag me off the ship kicking and screaming. SO Wonder-ful... get it?

We're local to Orlando, so we're just driving over to the port the day of and parking there. Can't wait!!

Silly question.. I know an FE is a fish extender..... but what does one DO with a FE? And how do you join it?

Isn't it fun to look at past navigators?! I was on the 10/03/2010 Wonder and used an August navigator to plan and all the times were the same!

Just booked today! 2nd Dis cruise, did the Mediterranean in Sept and can't wait to get back to sea! I feel spoiled! Taking our daughter this time for a mini vacation. She needs a couple days away from work!

The Med was very port intensive and we were exhausted when we got back so this one is gonna be RELAXING!!!!

We filled out our online papers yesterday and it made us even more excited for our cruise. Wooo Hoooo!!

DH and I are joining the 3 o'clock meet also! We're so looking forward to meeting our DIS friends.

Sadly I had to cancel our Disney cruise that we originally had put a deposit on for 9 Dec 10. I had even ordered my customized FE and Disney door magnets too!

We did re-book, but on a 7 night Eastern Caribbean cruise on RCL (in February, which is our 25th wedding anniversary). We are not taking DS on that cruise but definitely plan on booking another cruise on Disney sometime next year when he can go with and not miss any school. Right now, I have my TA checking on cruises for next Thanksgiving (2011)!

I’m so sad we won’t be going in December but for the price for 3 people for a 3 night cruise on DCL I was able to get a 7 night on RCL (for 2). I just couldn’t resist.

The only thing that upsets me is the reason that I had to cancel. It was due to a change in my credit card at the last minute. Without warning they lowered the available balance on the card (which I had been paying off so I could charge the balance of the cruise on it)! So one day there was plenty of money on there and then the next day--- hardly any! We had other credit cards that we could have put it on but I had specifically designated this one as our travel/cruise credit card and was just so upset about the entire situation that I just ended up canceling it and getting our deposit back. I’ve also decided to pay off that card completely and NEVER use it again (well, enough to keep it active since if you close it, it can hurt your credit report).

Anyway, happy sailing to all of you and I will be sure to check back in during/after the cruise to see how it went!

Awww....I guess I need to change my signature block now that I'm not sailing!

BUT just to leave on a GOOD NOTE, I will be going to MVMCP next week for my bday! So I will get my 'Disney fix' after all.

So sorry to hear that Michelle!!! I know how you feel - I was going to use my Disney rewards visa to pay for the cruise so I'd have the extra points to use on the ship. Then a few weeks before I booked, they SLASHED the limit by over $3,000!!! I was livid!! They did that to me on 2 other cards, and this one was the only one left with enough to pay the whole balance. I hate using my debit card on things like that since SO much can go wrong. I ended up having to use 2 different cards AND my rewards points. I felt soooo silly!

So I feel your pain.. if mine did that RIGHT before I was to pay it I would have been LIVID!!!

For anyone who is taking part in the FE and haven't posted info such as who is in your cabin/ages of children/cabin number/allergies etc, could you please do so this week as we will be leaving Canada in a couple of weeks and need to get our gifts for the FE exchange done.

Suzanne & I are "veteran" Disney goers... however, Barb hasn't been to a Disney park since she was a little girl (and she's 41 now) and that was a trip to Disneyland.

We are currently visiting a favorite Wisconsin city and were hoping to finish our shopping today for the FE! I think the list is soon to be completed.

We're not planning on dress up for Pirate night at this point, but it seems there will be plenty of couples, friends & families that do!!

Sooooo excited....my coworkers are beginning to roll their eyes as I've been counting down weekly.

My mom and I are taking a girls trip on this cruise - I'm so looking forward to it! She is 69 and I am 48. We booked a Cat 12 GTY and are in a Cat 10 on Deck 1.
