i need some ideas for the men in our FE group!
i am stumped! shoot some ideas my way so i can start with the men!

Hey Dreamers!

It's 90 days out officially (as of an hour and 13 minutes ago)

So excited!

(Also, if you are a silver Castaway Club Member, you can now book dining, spa reservations and activities!)

Where ate y'all able to book stuff? Its telling me I can't until the 25th!

It's 90 days out, so castaway club silver members can book. If its your first cruise with DCL you can't book until (I think) 75 days out.

You also have to be paid in full. I don't think technically the finally payment is due until the 25th. I paid early to make sure I could book Palo.

Sorry if I'm mentioning something that everyone knows already, but I figured I would, in case not everyone has scoured the boards like I have:

According to the boards here, DCL holds back about 50% of Palo and Remy reservations to be booked on board. If you can't book the dinner or brunch that you want, make sure to go to the "dining changes" location as soon as you board on Embarkation Day. (Check the Navigator for the location. [You can pick up Navigators from Guest Relations or there should be a small table with a display holder full of navigators on the wall across from Guest Relations])

Also, I know I've mentioned it on another thread, but I don't recall if I've mentioned it here:

Make sure that you stop at Meridian (Bar/Lounge outside of Palo and Remy) for a Creme Brulee Martini. I know, I know, $10 is insane to spend on 4 ounces of beverage... but you won't regret it.... and I don't like martinis.

I have my reservations made and checked in online. Got everything I wanted. All I need to do is wait and wait and wait! December can't get here fast enough.

i booked us a palo dinner on our sea day and atlantis day for the bahamas.
dont really want to do that but i also dont want to spend like $600 to swim with dolphins!! :-/

We wanted to swim with the Dolphins so we decided to do the Blue Lagoon dolphin swim. I thought about Atlantis and all the water slides, but my son wasn't tall enough to do most of the slides. Felt like Atlantis would be a waste, since all he would want is to go on slides he wasn't tall enough for. The Atlantis dolphin activities were more expensive also.

Hello from New England!
I may have introduced the gang earlier, but will say hello again. We are a fam of 4 DS 9 and DD 9 and the mom and dad bankrolling the whole adventure!
I stayed up so late and into the AM to book a Palo Brunch, a cabana, and I was shocked to get both as well as the port arrival time I wanted seeing this will be our first cruise! (I wont mention the difficulties with the web site:confused3)
Anyway; for kicks I went to DCL just a bit ago to see what kind of availability there was for new bookings. It looks like there are a TON of cabins still avail. This makes me happy to possibly have less than a full ship, but then I started to worry that DCL could cancel the sailing if they do not have 'enough' passengers. Has anyone ever heard of this happening? I only worry because this is a surprise for DH and DC that I have been planning and managing to keep a secret for almost a year now! I plan to surprise them the night before at WDW on our anniversary. :rolleyes1
Can't wait!!

I have been wondering this also. Here is another thread that someone asked the same question. http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2987286&highlight=cancelled+cruises

Keep monitoring this post, we will post more on our meet and greet time as we get closer to departure.

Thanks! I am all for less folks onboard, but would be kinda bummed if then suddenly 'kids sail free' or other deep discounts came out when we booked more than a year ago to try and get a 'good deal'! Oh well, we will all have a great time no matter what! Heck, maybe if there are huge discounts, those of us paying regular fare have a better chance at port upgrades!?
