starlite72 to the Dis boards and our cruise!!!! We are having a dis meet on the first day. If you want to join let me know and we will add you to the list a few pages back. I did get a room at Atlantis through travelzoo.com at a great rate. We had a wonderful time last year on basically the same cruise. (12-10 four night)

Hi everyone!

I cannot promise to make the meet as I've said earlier I'm traveling with a TON of family and for most it is their first time cruising. I'll see what I could do when the time comes, though.

If you take a look at my TRs (links below) you'll see what we look like and be able to spot us on the ship.

We leave on Saturday the 8th in the morning. We'll be at the BWV the night before the cruise. Can you believe we're in our final single digit countdown??!!

We didnt know about the ICE exhibit, our passes are for 10 days, so we will either buy a 1 day pass or take in some of the other things to do, the ICE exhibit has good possibilities My wife and I saw the ice sculptures / caves on the (sp) Yung Frau baun in Switzerland several years ago, that was pretty neat. I have been on a countdown for the past week and time cant go by fast enough!!!!

Goofy for Disney - The ICE exhibit in Nashville is put on by the same people as in Orlando. In Nashville it was a city built of ice with a bridge and street lights and a slide (that was awesome) people..everything. It was amazing to me. I would have like to have seen them build it. Check it out on the Gaylord Entertainment website.

Melody - Your post times are making me sleepy!!!! I do remember however that being my only quiet time also when my children were so little. Your children are precious!!!! Hopefully I can learn to post pictures this weekend. If I do I will post the childrens "Jingle Bell Ball" pictures. Maybe a family picture from the cruise last year.

One week everyone!!!!!!!!

I am not all the way packed yet!!!

I am behind on wrapping gifts!!!

It is almost time to call my sisters in!!!! (They will help)

It has been so hard to keep the secret. Now I only have three more days after today. I think I can keep it under lids for sure now. They are going to be so excited. I am going to try to record it if we think they wont catch onto anything.

Christie and Howard go to their "Ball" tonight. She is very excited. I hope they have as good of a time as they did last year.

Cant wait to meet everyone.

Good Morning everyone,

Telling the kids when I did was the right thing to do. The ages of my kids I really did not consider how they felt, they have calendars the same as I do, and a daily routine. I really feel the excitement was partially lost because alot of it is the anticipation of going. So although I wish I could have kept the secret to the end I made the right decision.

Hi all my cruisin' friends.

CAN'T WAIT TO MEET WITH EVERYONE ON SUNDAY.

Is anyone going to be at Boardwalk on Saturday by any chance?????


Karen and I will be there on Saturday. Will probably go to DTD in the evening or at Boardwalk by the water.

I don't want to wish the week away, 'cause I don't want our cruise to go by fast.

Packing will be good - all the important items are already in the suitcases.

Kay - Saturday night we have our "Illuminations Cruise". It is one of the childrens favorite. It is the perfect ending to a parks vacation. It is unbelievable on the water.

I am looking forward to meeting everyone.

I cant believe that I will be sailing away next weekend. I am alot more relaxed this time. Last year I had to have everything just so. This year no pirate costumes. Last year I had the best looking Captain Jack Sparrow. Young and old!!!! I cant find my door decorations. If I find them I will bring them. I made a tree out of Lime green mickey heads last year and decorated it with puched out mini mickeys and had it laminated. If I dont find it "Oh Well". Last year I would have not said that. This year it is relaxation as far as that goes. I only made two adrs for our land portion. Last year everything was to a "T". I think without a bunch of time restraints everyone will have a better time. We may even skip the dining room a couple of times. I hate saying that because it is great family time fuss free because it is expected. On the other time I will have William all to myself and not have to share him with work or the children!!!!! I should be ashamed because that sounds selfish but we rarely get time just the two of us anymore. We find it a priority to be with our children all the time at their ages. The children are going to want to try to get Agus and Sabrina for our servers. They talk about them all the time. I think Sabrina may be a server and not Agus's assistant anymore. They were great together. Talk to yall tomorrow. Is there a thread that teaches you to post pictures?


PrincessDi - You have a very pretty daughter and handsome son. I also have the same curly hooks on my christmas tree!!!!!!! I hope things are going better for your daughter and they are excited more than ever. I can see where there may be schedule conflicts with teenagers. Christie will miss a test taking course that she takes and gymnastics for two weeks but she will not complain.

Kay - We'll be staying at the BWV Saturday evening but are still unsure of our plans. It will all depend on how our flights go and how are children handle them. LOL I'm SO nervous about it!!!

MoTM - Don't even worry about it! You'll have a great time whether you have all of that planned out or not. I thought I'd have some door decorations for me and my family's cabins, but I just never got to it. I did manage to get my daughter some princess costumes for the trip and my husband has his pirate costume but I wont' be dressing up. We'll all have a blast no matter what!

Melody - Thanks!! I kinda figured I would be okay. I just hope the children are. They loved the deorations last year and made it much easier to find the cabin. I am going to look for them today. They werent with my other cruise stuff. We enjoyed the costumes but they didnt make our trip. My DH looked great but he didnt like it at all!!!!

Just wanted to mention that those of you we do not meet before the cruise, when we are in the terminal,

Karen and Abby and I will be sitting in the temrinal in the roped off section by the entrance.

All 3 of us will be dressed alike in our Disney dresses. We're sitting there 'cause we are in conceire.

Just letting you know so that you can spot us good and be able to see us in amongst the cruisers walker around.

I found my tree door decoration but that is it. I will bring it though for the children. I am really behind and now to the point where I really dont care!!!! I am going to Disneyworld.
