Hi, yes there is a website. The link is in my signature. A facebook page hasn't been created yet. I guess once we come up with a name forthe group we can do that.

I guess we really need to get moving on that.

How about we take suggestions through the 30th of September and voting can be 1-7 October? That's a little over two weeks more to suggest a name and a week for voting?

Also, we might consider down the line when we get closer to having 'chats'. My cruise this year is having chats. We started about 6 months out once a month and now that we are less than 50 days away, we've gone to every two weeks. We've had lots of fun with that.

I do like the idea of chats...that has to be fun.



Went to the eye doctor today for my yearly exam, all I have to say is, thank goodness I live pretty close, man after he dilated my eyes the sun was very painful even with sunglasses.....so hangin around the house for awhile to my eyes get back to normal and I can get my contacts back in.....

I like the idea of a FB page but can it be a members only group restricted to those signed up on the cruise / Disboard's?

I'm at the airport waiting to go home and back to reality. I've learnt that using my phone for FB is good but I hate it for the web.

I like the idea of the Mickey head with our names in it - we could print it out on transfer paper at home and wear our T-shirts on embarking I assume. That will be fun

Okay, back to my book and wait for my boarding call.

Yes i t would be a closed group. My current cruise has one as well as having chats over Chatzy.
A mod would be in charge and you would have to request to be added to the group. Chatzy works the same way.

It's more private than here, actually!

Anybody planning a pre or post trip to the world?
We were originally going for a week, making it a two-week trip, but now looking at about three days prior. Doing that this coming cruise so will see if it's a good idea or not!

We are not sure what we are doing yet, really depends on where we are living. But we usually do pre-cruise when we can. The parks can be tiring and we use the cruise to wind down.

Oh, so agree...we made the 'mistake' (if ever going to WDW can be classified as a mistake ) of cruising first and going to the parks after. We ended up exhausted and decided then it's parks FIRST and cruise SECOND

2 years ago we made the same mistake, went to Vero Beach for 4 days then the parks for 4 days.
