Happy Monday Morning:

Why do the weekends go so fast??

Worked a few hours Saturday, got home cut the lawn, went grocery shopping, took a nap, made dinner and thats about it.

Sunday I did the laundry, cleaned and straightend up around the house, then went and got my eyebrow's waxed...dont know what she did this time, must have pulled some skin off, but on the drive home, my eye was stinging and by the time I got home my eye was swollen...its the same girl that does them every time, so not sure what she did this time. still a little swollen this morning, so no eye make up...but after that I did take a nice nap then threw some steaks on the grill....

I know, I lead such an exciting life....dont be jealous...

have a good day

:wave2:

Good morning! It's Monday, short week for me today as I took Friday off so I have a four day weekend:cool1: But then my daughter-in-law told me she can't get off to take DGD to meet her teacher Friday as they are doing the meet-n-greet from 10-2...stupid around here when you have mostly both parents working. My son is deployed so my DDiL has had to do everything and her boss is getting a little tired of it. So I'm going back to 2nd grade this Friday! ;)

That's a shame aout your DIL. I think it is getting tougher on employers to find balance in suporting the efforts of our service men and woman and still conduct business. I guess there is not easy answer.

Don't forget to bring an apple for the teacher. :rotfl:

Yes, especially since she works for a federal agency. But in their defense, she's not been very smart about taking time off. She is ALWAYS taking a day here a day there...to the point she might not have enough time for our vacation. :sad2:

On days off, I tend to hang out in tee shirts and jeans or capris. Do I have to dress up for this..and by dress up I mean not wearing a Disney tee shirt?:confused3
Or do I go in showing just where this family stands!
:rotfl2:

I say wear your Disney and show them where you stand!! :thumbsup2

It feels better, but it is still slightly swollen. I am just worried as I will need to have this done again 2 days prior to my son's wedding....so hoping this is healed by then and hopefully this dosnt happen again.

I'll try to be on my best behavior......and wear my Disney! She needs to know because we will be spiriting Erin away for 8 days in January to go to see the mouse, on land and on sea! :goodvibes

OK, I'm leaving it WIDE open here..........

sorry, I was going to try but it got busy this afternoon....It always seems the closer it gets to go home, the more people call and need things....:sad2:

have a good evening

Hello everyone! My name is Lynne and I'll be cruising with you! :cheer2:

I'll be cruising with DH and our DS who will be 13 1/2 months old when we sail. We will also be cruising with one of our dear friends who loves Disney and all things Christmas.

We were supposed to be sailing on the Magic out of NYC last August... but getting pregnant (after being told it that we were unlikely to be able to have kids) changed that!! So this is kind of a celebration for us...

This won't be DS' first trip - he WDW when he was 5 1/2 months old (lucky guy) and he was a great little traveler. I'm a little worried about what he's going to be like as I've heard stuff about travelling with toddlers (varying degrees of :scared: ). If anyone has any tips or tricks about travelling with babies that are, uh, ambulatory, I would be most grateful!

Looking forward to meeting everyone!

:welcome: Lynne, and congratulations!!! Looking forward to meeting you! We are empty nesters, but have traveled with our young grandchildren. However, I am not experienced with them on a cruise...they will be on their first cruise in January! I do know you can order diapers and such to be in your stateroom, but don't know how the price comparison will be. They have a toddler water play area that looked like the kids were having a good time. You can request a pack n play for your stateroom as well. I'm sure someone on here has lots more tips for you and I hope to hear them as well. OH, if you want some time to yourselves, you can book the nursery, I think up to 10 hours for the entire cruise...it is $6 an hour.

:welcome: Lynn and family. Glad to have you with us....empty nesters here also. I'm Denise and traveling with my friend Sue. We are getting really excited about this cruise and like Frank said getting close to our 90 day booking...:thumbsup2 Cant wait to start making reservations, I received an email from Disney stating we are getting close to book our excursions...:cheer2: so that helped getting me excited.

have a good evening

I just looked at my countdown clock and I'm only 1 hour and 31 minutes away from double digits on take-off!!!
