DECEMBER 6, 2009 Winter WONDERland sailing!!!

Beautiful Christmas pictures. Disney and Christmas are two of my favorite things!!
I agree. My MOST favorite thing with Disney over the holidays is watching Mickey's 'Twas the Night Before Christmas" stage show at MK. I LOVE watching all the characters sing and dance. There they use the technology where their mouths even move and it is so REAL. The best part of the show for me is whenever Chip 'n' Dale are dancing. I don't know why, but I just laugh and and smile until my face hurts!

Has anyone heard anything about any special holiday-themed shows with the characters on the ship?

We were at WDW last December and it was "the most wonderful time of the year." (I know, sounds like a song huh?)

That's why I'm excited about being on a cruise during that time of the year. I'm sure I'll be busy taking lots of pictures.

I'm not familiar with any of the shows they have.

I love being at Disney during Christmas - they really "do up" the park with decorations. Last year I was still part-time in Epcot and I really enjoyed walking by the big tree just at the entrance of the World Showcase, and how they put the lights on an arbor as you walk through from the park.

This year I really want to go to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party as I've not been before.

I have seen the Osborne Lights - what a LOT of lights!

Oh, but to see the ship done up in all her glory...priceless!

Holly

If you love Christmas, then you must do MVMCP!

We went last year and had a blast! THe parade was wonderful and it was great not seeing the park so crowded. We could just walk on any ride that we wanted.

I was always working?:lmao:
No way - you were part-time! Of course, now you have to work around Wally World, but you need to plan on at least one evening each for MVMCP and the Candlelight Processional (check out the narrators). Figure it out so you won't have to work those couple of nights. It's a MUST-DO! :goodvibes

Gary Sinise did skip the CP in 2005. We got John Stamos instead and I ended up sitting behind his family so was under the illusion that he was looking at me - LOL. I'm sure Gary must have other contractual agreements this time, because otherwise it's usually his "family vacation."

I'm not that thrilled with the 2008 narrators. I enjoy Marlee Matlin, but there are MANY others I'd rather see. Of course, my mom has a thing for John O'Hurley. We will either go see him on the 28th, or on the 30th (our first night at the Contemporary) if we don't do MVMCP that night. I'd like to go to MVMCP on the 30th since it would be easier for my mom (us not having to commute), but that is not a Passholder discount night so would not be too sensible. Decisions, decisions . . . :confused3

I'm thinking you might like to see Neil Patrick Harris? Brian Stokes Mitchell will narrate on my B'Day, but I don't even know who he is.

Hey, isn't Lynn back from DL yet? Is she going to post a trip report elsewhere on the DIS, or will she give us the scoop here? Can't wait! :cool1:

I'll have to see what my work schedule is (always an interesting :rotfl2: surprise....) I'd like to see Marlee Matlin or Neil Patrick Harris.

Lynn was supposed to be back yesterday - but of course she may be worn out or busy with all the things one has to do after a vacation.

And for us - two more days and we do a Disney visit! :woohoo:

Holly

How are you getting away with so much in your sig? Don't they limit them now? That's why I took out the ticker I had for the Contemporary when I added one for the other cruise.

Anyway - Bear is ADORABLE! I would put a cute DIS smiley, but they don't seem to be working at the moment.

I think as long as it isn't so wide it makes one have to scroll is fine. I know the height is definitely limited. And if it is too tall - it'll just get cut off.

Of course if my sig is too much and the DIS photo-enforcers don't like it - I'll take it out. I just wanted it to look a little bit different than yours...

Smiles,

Holly

I think there is a 3-graphic (including any non-DIS smilies) and total 50 kb size limit on the signatures. Not sure.

Are you seeing any smilies? I didn't so assumed they are just not working right now for some reason.

No I'm not seeing them. Would be cute though.

Bear DEMANDED that I put a photo up of him - he's jealous of the 'munks...

Smiles,

Holly

Yeah - It's the smilies on the DIS. They must be hosted somewhere else and simply not functioning right now, so I didn't try to post any. Ooooh - Now they appear to be showing! :dance3:

Tell Bear that the 'munks are like Pal Mickey. They are NOT edible and are supposed to be INVISIBLE to him!

I do think Lynn must be exhausted from her trip. I hope everything is okay and that she has a MAGICAL time to report! :wizard:

Oh - I intend to bring my camera for our park visit on Wednesday as I'd like to get photos of T-Rex. I bet others on here would be interested to see more of what it's like in case they do a before or after visit to the parks.

Smiles,

Holly
