wow that sounds like you had a really nice time...I am looking forward to the trip myself..Im just hoping I can do the rest but I wont know till next month whether that will be possible...once I know for sure then I can start replanning and everything...I got a ton of pics to use for my stateroom door but I have to figure out how to print it out as big as I need it

each of the pictures are on a magnetic sheet that you can print pictures on and the sheets are 8 inches by 10 inches.

Hello all!
I just found this thread I booked for this cruise, while on the 2008 Mousefest cruise. My DH is joining me for this one, so I gotta be on my best behavior...... It will be Randy's first MouseFest, my 4th. Looking forward to meeting everyone! Hey Stephy and Tinkerbell1, the Spa rats!

As for the FE, whatever you find that is inexpensive but in large quanities, works. Some people requested no candy because of allergies. I found pencils, pens, little wallets, magnets, stickers, little writing pads, necklaces.

Folks gave out little containers of maple syrup, jams, things from Avon, lip gloss, sunscreen, travel sewing kits, candy, suckers, cookies. One person had a whole "Survivor" kit. that was really neat. Ray Sharpton gave out crowns and cute sunglasses.

Stephanie and I went out on the sea day and handed out our things. It seemed that every time we came back to our room, there was something in our FE. It was great.

I found a lot of the things I got at Target, Michaels, the Dollar Store. I would go out once a month and just stock up. one person made little bell necklaces. We wore ours on the Mouse Fest meet day.

If I remember, we had things for about 24 cabins. That was because we had names from the DIS and Tagrel folks who participated.

wow you used EVERY inch of that door and using it on the fridge is a great idea

carnival made me an offer i couldn't refuse , have jumped ship to the glory out of miami that week...

was able to get their top balcony, sailing to Nassau, St. Thomas, San Juan & Grand Turk for 3 peeps for nearly same price as the cat #11 i had booked

will rebook DCL for some time in 2010 though

Wow, we have had so many people jump ship. I was just curious to see how many people are still going to stick with the cruise even though Mousefest was cancelled.

I am sure Disney will offer some incentives and get people on board and we still have some time.

have a good time....Ive never wanted to be on carnival...always seemed like too much of a party ship to me....as in people being drunk 24-7

We're still going...of course we hadn't planned this around Mousefest anyway and there is no other line I'd rather take. Inexpensive is great, but sometimes I like to splurge on the best! At least with Disney, I get what I pay for! I cannot wait for December, lol!

We're totally still going...wouldn't miss it for the world. Since this is my first cruise I am soooo excited and can't wait, I even bought a FE gift today...crazy since we still have 10 months to go but I just couldn't help myself. Quick question...just wondering if anyone has booked swimming with dolphins in Bahamas at an independent park instead of with Disney excursions? With 5 people in my party it'll cost almost 1000.00 with disney

Wow! I am so shocked that so many people have pulled out because of MouseFest! What a disappointment. Oh well, we'll still be there! Can't wait, we have planned this trip without MouseFest in mind and we'll enjoy it!

Lynn, one person made theirs without sewing, it took me just over an hour to sew mine. The lettering for our names was fabric glitter. I let it dry for a day and it was fine. Yes some of those were beautiful, but don't let it bother you. Mine definately looks handmade but I didn't care.

no snow here and if it did it would be a shocker but then again I live in CA however, its been raining tons...we dont get alot of rain here except during this time of year and the last couple of years its not been very good so even though I cant stand it when it rains, I know we need it...its funny cause when it rains here everyone tries to stay out of it...if it snowed? good grief we wouldnt leave our house, schools would be closed and so would most businesses

I just had a quick question about the FE"s and the person ( I believe it was Taswira) who seemed to be planning it I think has cancelled. Is there someone else I should be messaging to let them know I would like to be a part of this. I noticed Tigger tails on another link about FE and decorating the door (amazing job btw) so it looks like some are doing it....just don't want to miss out of the fun
