December 2024 Check In Thread

This dang weather for next week keeps changing. It's been anywhere from highs in the 60s to lows in the 40s to a high of 78. Now it seems to be trending back down. It's been very frustrating picking out what to wear 😬 (If only all my "problems" were this silly)

Are you coming from Australia?

Our weather has been quite cold in the evening. When you see temps 70s, it is often for just a couple of hours and then it starts dropping quickly. At the high, it might be warm in the sun but cool in the shade.

I would plan on long pants and a t-shirt with a sweatshirt over that you can take off/put on depending on the time of day. In the evening, you probably want another layer (jacket) on top of the sweatshirt.

100% this. We got a locker each day but would start the day in either long sleeve/pants or jacket/long sleeve and pants and end up in a t shirt until the sun went down then sometimes I’d need two long sleeves with my jacket. Florida’s wet cold is just as rough but for some reason I couldn’t warm up in California either.

Nope, we live in the south, but I am actually from northern California. This is what I was thinking too though! I am used to driving to WDW so I can just throw everything in the car that I might possibly need (and then some!). Consolidating to a carry-on has been an adjustment especially with so many layers needed.
