December 2015 Check-In Thread

Just booked 12/10-12/12 to check out Star Wars Launch Bay, etc.
My first solo trip! I booked the Super 8 on Katella (just stayed there 2 weeks ago...great budget motel).

Dec 10th - 14th at GCH (first time staying there!) with my DH, 2 DS, and my mom who is turning 60 on the 11th! This has been a trip in the works for 10 years when my mom had to cancel the trip for her 50th birthday - she hasn't been to DLR in 20 years so we are all very excited!

We switched to Dec 9-16 at Park Vue :) I couldn't pay more than double for PPH in good faith. The flights work better this way too.

I'll be there December 6-10 staying at PPH upper level premium view! One quick question, Im trying to make online dining reservations, and it's showing me a grayed out Calendar for December?

I have made reservation for 3,4,5, now but cant do 7th till tomorrow good luck

This morning I did a Blue Bayou lunch reservation for the 6th, but your comment made me check the date and right now the 6th is not available. Huh? BUT.... I still have my reservation and when I went back again to the BB's calendar, the 6th popped up available! It was there. Then it wasn't. Then it came back.... *rolls eyes* lol So, the site is clearly wonky! Check again, and even go back to October, then back to December to see if that fixes it. hth!!

Oh, and there's like ZERO contrast between blue "available" days and "gray" days that aren't available yet. My old eyes can barely see the difference!! They must have a young web designer. *grumble* :teeth:

We are booked at PVI currently because it's super close in a 1 Q, 1 bunk room. For the same price, I can get a suite at the new Homewood Suites opening down the block and that includes dinner if we happen to be at the hotel then, M-TH. I'm almost thinking that might be worth it given we do spend a good chunk of time at the hotel. We spend mornings at the parks, back at the hotel for afternoon/rest, back to the parks to close them out. That being said, is it frustrating to wait for the trams and such back to the Toy Story lot? The only reason I would consider it is because we are staying 7 nights and that is a good amount of time to be in a small hotel room.

I live relatively locally, and often park at Toy Story when I'm doing a day trip....the busses back and forth to Toy Story run non-stop...there's probably 20 or 30 of them, so the only time there is even a little wait is after park closing when there are far more people loading onto them...but again, since there are so many running in a constant stream, I don't think I've ever waited more than 10 minutes, even at the end of the day/after park closing. Any other time of the day, it's pretty much a walk on to a waiting bus in either direction. :)
