December 2013.

I just booked December 11-15th, at WL CL! This is our first time during the holidays and I am so excited. :santa:

Going this year for the second time during X Mas season. I love, love, love the park during this time and there is nothing like MVMCP if you can go! Right now I am trying to save up to go Sept of 2014 so I can experience MNSSHP too. But the decoration out at Christmas are the best and there is nothing like seeing the castle light up. pixiedust:

Just changed our dates from Thanksgiving week to the week before Christmas 12/15-12/21. I am so excited to be there so close to Christmas & with FD. We will be staying at POR in a Royal Room Garden View!!

MCH, we will be staying those exact same dates in the royal rooms garden view!! So excited for both of us!!

I can't believe I talked H into it -- but we're headed back to the World with our girls in December!!!:banana::banana:

We spent a week in a Finding Nemo suite last November. We had SUCH a great time that H & I went back WITHOUT the girls for my 30th birthday 2 month later. After that, H said we weren't going back down until November 2014 (we already had a vacation to Jamaica planned for this November).

BUT, after some persuasion, he agreed to a short (2 night) trip in December. We're leaving on our oldest daughter's birthday -- this trip will be a surprise (again -- our first trip was a surprise, too)!!! Well wake them up & tell them WERE GOING TO DISNEY WORLD!!!

We'll be back at AOA, but since this is a budget trip we're staying in the Little Mermaid room. Our youngest in 2, so we can all squeeze in there.

There is NOTHING better than Christmas time in Disney World. I can't wait!!!

We're doing the DDP, so I need to get 2 table service reservations.

One has to be Cape May Cafe Clam Bake on 12/16, it's the ONLY thing H requested :rotfl:

We are going to the Xmas party the night we arrive, so we'll grab a counter service dinner in Magic Kingdom.

I think we'll use our other table service for breakfast on Monday 12/16. Im hoping for Crystal Palace, its one of the few places we havent tried yet.

 I can't wait to get back to my happy place!!!

Time for December 2013 :santa:thread. Yes it is still a long way out but, planning is half the fun. So anyone else pre planning their trips yet? Come on come on I can't be the only one. :lmao:

We are actually going to come in on Nov. 30, 2013 but the trip will start Dec 1. :) It will be 4 adults and 2 kids. One little princess princess:who doesn't remember her 1st trip and thinks she's "never going to get to go to Disney" will be 5 at the time. The other will be gulp 9:scared: (that is hard for me to say and he's my nephew I hate to see what his mom feels like)

Arriving the same day you are. DW, DS, DD and myself and staying until December 7th at Pop Century. :cool1: All planning is almost complete and the clock is ticking!!!!! :thumbsup2 114 days!!!!!!!! We are almost two digit midgets. :cheer2: :goodvibes pirate: :thumbsup2 :cool1: :cheer2:pixiedust:

Christmas proper. 12/21 to 12/31 POFQ. :cool1::cheer2:

We will be there the day after Christmas. Have you ever gone that week before?
I'm a little nervous about crowds but its not our first trip this year so we are going to take it easy.
We are going for the decorations and atmosphere not so much rides.

You have the correct mind set. And yes we have 3 other times around Christmas. We do rope drop downtime at resort and back later for more fun.
Have a ball.:yay:

We did it in July. It was fantastic!!!

By the way how were your seats?

There were 10 of us. Our table was right up against the railing on the right, second table as you walk in. It was a great spot!!! We were so lucky! Most people who sit in the back have to walk up to the railing to see. We were able to stay sitting and enjoy.
Sitting to watch wishes was the best part!!

The DP thread is the best. :)

Hi, everyone! We are heading down Dec 6-11, and I am sooooooo excited! I've managed to schedule all the things we wanted to do... Lunch at CRT, sleigh ride at the Fort, Donald Duck breakfast at AK, MVMCP... And we're staying at POFQ for the first time, which I can't wait to experience. I love the small size of the resort, and the boat to DTD is a great option.

This is the first vacation I've been able to afford to take my family (husband & kids aged 7 & 9) on all by myself, so this is super special to me. My mom took us all to Disney a couple of years ago, which was awesome, but there's something wonderful about knowing I can do this for our family all on my own. We've had a lot of financial problems ever since I got sick back in 2007, and this year we have finally turned the corner. So this is truly going to be a celebration of the best kind!!! A new beginning.

I've also never seen Disney at Christmastime, so I know the holiday spirit is going to make it even more magical! I am in perpetual vacation mode from now until December.

So... Hi! :)

Super Excited to be going Dec. 7-15th....:woohoo:

Can I ask - is Pop Warner really a big deal? I have read on some sites that it doesn't really affect anything and then on other sites that it is a horrible menace and I should run for the hills....:confused3

Either way - the crowds should be less than school holidays and summer so I am still super excited to go and can't wait to see Disney through my children's eyes!!!

We are very much looking forward to MVMCP - my DD is excited to have cookies and hot cocoa with Mickey, lol (so am I!)

Anyway -glad to have this thread to keep me busy!!!

Thanks and HI ALL! :wave2:

I was there last year at Pop Warner and will be there again this year at the same time. The crowds were not bad as the kids were at competition all day. I did however stay off site and from what I have heard the value resorts can get a little hectic with all the young kids staying there. But from the parks perspective it was not bad at all, I think this year the crowds will actually be better because this was the week last year that the new Fantasyland opened so there was a crowd for that, but overall nothing bad! :santa:
