December 2013: We just booked!

9 months from today we check into The Wilderness Lodge for our first on site stay. We check out on the 16th. Cannot wait!

I guess I kinda count as a December 2013 person since we will be checking into the WL on December 30! Going down for NYE and then just staying for an extra week because well why wouldn't we?

We go every December and LOVE that time of year at Disney! Just booked our return trip yesterday. We will be at our favorite resort - POFQ - from 12/14-12/21.

Congratulations! I wish I knew about this site when I planned our first trip in Dec 2011. There is a lot of useful info on here and many helpful users. It has been a great help for our second trip this December. Good luck and hope you have a great trip.

Our family started counting down from almost 800 days! Now we are down to 272 days!!! Surprisingly it has gone by somewhat fast! We will be checking into POP on the 8th of December and checking out on the 19th. So excited!!! From what I hear, the crowd levels can vary tremendously. Hoping for very low crowds like our last three trips!

It has not been easy! Each day that I think about it, it seems to be going slow and that we'll never get there! But then when I look back and see how many days we've already passed, it feels like it went by fast! I hope the rest of your waiting time goes by fast!

We're going to SW one day, BG one day, IOA one day, and US one day. Then the other five are at Disney.

We are considering SW, but I don't know. We have done US twice, so DBF thought SW might be a nice change of pace, but I'm having trouble figuring out my scheduling. There is just so much I want to do during the holidays at Disney!!

We are planning to do one day at Universal and one day at IOA. I wanted to keep in just Disney, but I was out voted! Haha

No, we've never done December before. We did October last time, which was awesome, but I really wanted to see it all done up for Christmas! I can't wait to see all the decorations and lights! What are you most looking forward to?

This trip will be the first time since I went as a kid that we will be able to have 2 days at MK and 2 days at EPCOT. Usually we have gone to other attractions for 2 of the days so we only would have 1 day each at the 4 parks. With just doing SW we have more time to relax and resort hop.

To answer your question Princess I am most looking forward to attending MVMCP for the first time and seeing the FLE. I am also looking forward to attending CP and seeing Osboune Lights plus resort and park decorations again. Our last trip was Thanksgiving 2011 and it was our first holiday season trip. We had such an amazing experience we knew then we had to come this time of year again and thought 2013 would be perfect. We chose a different week so we could see the tree at MK and MVMCP. We don't have kids so our schedule is pretty flexible.
