Congrats!! AKL is awesome! You're going to love it! Just make sure to schedule a good junk of time to spend at the resort. It has so much to see and do.

I completely agree with this. It is so relaxing sitting outside ANYWHERE just watching the animals. So amazing. One of my favorite resorts. We spent our entire first day there, and most of an off day there. Take the tour!! Oh and the sannaa tour gives you sample naan bread!

What tour?

Which part are you asking about. The restaurant Sanaa has a tour describing the restaurant itself. All the artifacts there and takes you around the restaurant. And at the end you get free snacks.

There is a similar too (minus the snacks) about the hotel lobby itself. Both very fun and informative. I forget what days and times they were, but we did both in the same day on our off day.

Is there a cost for them? I'm debating on adding the deluxe plan for dining... I figured our food costs and for an adult, I estimated about $630... for $70 more we can get the deluxe plan and my dad & sister LOVE food (almost as much as I do)... but that will eat up a lot of our time (literally! lol) Ahhh, decisions... why can't I just live there?

We booked a couple weeks ago, once we hit the 11 month window for DVC! We have a studio at Saratoga Springs. The last few times we've made December reservations we had to cancel but I am hoping that won't happen this time! I am so ready to see the Christmas decorations again!

I am a little late to the party, but my parents and I are booked for Christmas week (Dec. 20-27) at FW in our 5th wheel camper. My DBFF is also coming along since she is like a sister anyhow. I am excited to be there Christmas week. I only have two requests and that is to be in MK on Christmas Day (early) and go to candlelight processional. Not sure what day we want to go, but we may try to go to the Christmas Eve one that way we can get a somewhat traditional service in...LOL!!! Since we have all been to WDW before there is no need to go see everything or do anything. If we see if, fine, if not, fine again.

i just changed my dates, so i'll get there a day earlier then i first planned, now i'll be there Dec. 21-27. i also noticed playing around on the airlines website i can get earlier flights on a saturday then i can on a sunday. saturdays i can get a 6:30 am flight and sunday i have to wait till 8:30 am. less sleep But more Disney time.

I just booked our December 6-14 trip. Staying at AKL CL. Can't wait! Never stayed club level at AKL. Have before at Poly and absolutely loved it. Hoping for same love for the AKL one. Anyone have experience there? Thanks for sharing. Never have gone before at that time of year.

TiggerThyme-I am so excited for you! My husband and I have wanted to try this but are spoiled by the location of Kidani village. One of these times we are going to do it though.

NOte to everyone: My extended family is going to book a 2 bedroom at AKL kidani in the next few weeks. Because my husband and I are TTC, I was going to wait until at least May to book anything for us. I would rather not travel after 6 months pregnant if I cant help it since this would be our first. But, when we book we will get a studio at AKL Kidani.
