well, thats bizarre. I got what I wanted so I was happy. Think that will change? I got a 7:05 going and a 3pm coming back home.

I called Southwest. I am looking to fly out of Akron Canton. They told me either the schedule isn't uploaded yet or they may not be flying out of akron canton anymore. BOO!

Do the PIN code dates coincide with the Bounceback offer dates? Just saw that they are 11/30 - 12/4 this year. I am booked 12/1 - 12/7 - will that mean I need to shorten my trip?

i "always" get a PIN (they are taunting me now because I can't go until december!) so I am sure I will get one, just wanted to check if anyone knew about the dates.

It's showing all flights for Southwest as SOLD OUT. I called Southwest and the lady told me flights weren't uploaded yet. Hmmmmm...

I was trying to get a Southwest flight leaving on Dec 1st from HOU to MCO and it was $400 ONE WAY All the "wanna get away" rates were showing as SOLD OUT as well. Hope it's a glitch somewhere.

I was going to depart the 30th instead but now my husband waited too long to purchase the tickets and prices for a RT ticket are $420 instead of the $360 it was yesterday. Hoping Southwest releases a sale for December (wishful thinking, I know)

AirTran almost always has sales for December (with blackout dates for the holidays, of course) and now that they're owned by the same people SW always runs a sale the same day AT does. I'd say your chances are pretty good of at least getting a sale on the way back. I imagine Nov 30 will be blacked out because of T-day. Good luck!

They do not always coincide. So is the bounceback now for December free dining? Where are the details? I have to go look. I haven't been paying any attention to bouncebacks, being we only go every 4 years or so.

The current bounceback is for a room discount for select weeks throughout the year.

We are booked Dec 8-13 and need to fly SW( DH frequent flyer miles) and they no longer have the 8am direct flight that we want. They do have a 11am one. We are thinking about booking our trip down and then waiting for the return flight (need a few more points to get it free). We will be flying out of Ak-Canton.

If the flight amount goes down will they credit you the difference? Also if they add a flight (say the 8am one) is there a charge to switch flights?

We are back in the hunt. We went ahead and rented DVC points for our stay, but the new SW fares are unbelievable and if I am going to spend the money anyway I'd rather fly earlier for a cheaper fare and spend the money at Disney!

So, looking for a code or deal for the 17th -21st. Open to resort, though I guess I should research which have their own buses as we will be w/out a rental car for those days. Oh well, is having an extra 4 days a bad thing?

Thinking of tryng Xmas time for the first time. I thought the first week in Dec. is suppose to have light crowds but it seems alot are going that week. Also- was there offers in Dec. last year?

We are going dec 1-7 and while it does seem that a lot of people are going then all the sites I check keep saying its a good week to go. I am hoping most people will head home Sunday after thanksgiving. Here's hoping I'm right haha!

I'm flying out on November 29th and was hoping to fly out of Akron/Canton myself but the flight is too late with Airtran (Southwest) and the price is more than flying out of Hopkins in Cleveland. I'm just going to make the hour drive up to Cleveland and fly out around 8am instead of a 1 stop flight out of Akron leaving at noon and arriving in Orlando at 6:20 or the only nonstop leaving at 8pm.

we booked for the 30th also... I called and they told me they didn't have the wanna get away fares on the first because of it being thanksgiving weekend... it wasn't a mistake. I'd rather spend the extra money on an extra night... hopefully they will come out with a discount

If I have to make discount predictions for that timeframe, I would say:

Oct 1-5 or 6 and Oct 19 or 20 - Nov 1 or 2
November 10 - 21
Nov 29 or 30 - Dec 5 or 6 and Dec 14 - 19

Give or take a day or two, if FD or RO offers are released for this timeframe, these dates should be pretty close.

I know, and your projected dates work perfect for me. I was just meaning if it mirrors the bounceback date wise (the BB is for Room only) it would begin on November 17TH. Then I would have to do room only from the 14TH-17TH and then add FD for the 17TH-24TH, but I am hoping your dates are right.
