December 2013 Pin Code Watch

I know, and your projected dates work perfect for me. I was just meaning if it mirrors the bounceback date wise (the BB is for Room only) it would begin on November 17TH. Then I would have to do room only from the 14TH-17TH and then add FD for the 17TH-24TH, but I am hoping your dates are right.

I see, gotcha. Is that the current Bounceback? I think I've seen a couple of different BB dates for late in the year and the talk of some new pins. Guess I need to do a bit of research after all the September FD craziness dies down and see what everyone is getting on that front ;-)

How does one get a PIN, it is e-mailed of postal mailed? What's the criteria for receiving one, just luck of the draw? We are planning on Dec 3-10.

It's luck of the draw. Can come in your email most of the time, some people still get them on the regular mail. Best thing to do is register for all the Disney websites and request a Disney Planning DVD

Sounds like some people are getting December pin codes for free dining...I haven't gotten one (sadly) but it gives me hope that there will be fd opened to the public at some point!

Yes, I am so excited! My predicted dates were so close and I bet most of those FD pin code dates drop for the general public this summer! Predicted dates:

Nov 30 - Dec 4 and Dec 15 - 22

I got a email this morning for FD But with me staying at Pop and do not want the Free QS I have to pay about 18.00 more for Reg. Dining Plan which is good....I will take anything

The QSP is for Value and DDP for Mods/Deluxe.
I booked at CBR because the kids like the pool ~ I wanted CR but all they had available was Atrium Club Level.

If I'm not mistaken as long as you check in during the promotion it should run through your entire stay.

Hopefully someone with a bit more knowledge will let you know for sure!

Who would like the tedious job of answering my ridiculous questions?

First- Are PIN codes for dining discounts only, or are resorts tossed in the mix too?

Second- If resort discounts are ever included, how likely is it to receive a discount for FW?

Third- How do I get to be one of the lucky ones.

So we are going 12/7 - 12/13. Those are set dates for us unfortunately. If the hope for free dining is gone, what's the chance of getting other discounts such as room-only discount.

Also will they send us a pin if we have not booked our package yet?

We're coming DEc 1-7th!! Fingers crossed for a discount!! Staying at BC and would love to try a split stay at WL too!

We are booked Dec 1 - 6 at Pop so bring on the discount. Now I just need to figure out if I want to keep QS or upgrade to the regular plan.

We are booked at POP Dec 1-8. I will be watching and hoping for some discount. Keeping fingers crossed.

We will be there Nov 30-Dec 6. Hoping for FD or a discount.

We are headed to WDW from 11/30 - 12/8 from the Detroit area. Does anyone know when Southwest will release their flight schedules for that time period? I looked today and they still only have flights through the end of October.

Usually, POFQ is excluded due toots small size...they don't usually give discounts.

We are booked at POFQ from Dec 5-14. However, if free dining comes out we will try and change to POR.

Do the PIN code dates coincide with the Bounceback offer dates? Just saw that they are 11/30 - 12/4 this year. I am booked 12/1 - 12/7 - will that mean I need to shorten my trip?

i "always" get a PIN (they are taunting me now because I can't go until december!) so I am sure I will get one, just wanted to check if anyone knew about the dates.

We are back in the hunt. We went ahead and rented DVC points for our stay, but the new SW fares are unbelievable and if I am going to spend the money anyway I'd rather fly earlier for a cheaper fare and spend the money at Disney!

So, looking for a code or deal for the 17th -21st. Open to resort, though I guess I should research which have their own buses as we will be w/out a rental car for those days. Oh well, is having an extra 4 days a bad thing?

So, I WAS excited to book our trip officially, however, now that I've gotten off the phone with Disney, I am so upset. We have always been able to get at least a AAA discount if nothing else was available, but the CM indicated (and even called on someone else to double check) that there are no AAA discounts available for the majority of our dates - if nothing else comes through, we are definitely going to have to change resorts, maybe even offsite

He was able to apply it the first night, 12/19. He said that they are not offering it for the remaining nights because of how close it is to the holiday - I truly hope that doesn't mean that discounts will be structured the same way when/if released.
