**December 2012 Roll Call** Holidays, FLE Opening & MVMCP!! A very, merry thread!

Hello December friends. No new planning on our part but here is our schedule so far

12/2 drive through the night
12/3 at Fla at sunrise (as long as timing works out) stop at Fla Welcome Center for OJ
Arrive at Pop - resort day
12/4 sleep in - more resort hopping
MVMCP
12/5 not sure yet
12/6 Breakfast at Tusker House
12/7 Happy 10th Anniversary to us
Dinner CP package at Via Napoli
12/8 :-( check out day. Last minute DTD shopping and drive home.

Flying out of Columbus at 7:30ish. Guessing you fly out of Cleveland. We will have to compare schedules. I know I read yours but I didnt match it up to mine to see if we might cross paths. We are staying at POP so we will be close by.

Yup, we're out of CLE on a 7:45am flight, landing in Orlando at 10:21am. Let me know if our schedules match up at all...I'd be more than happy to be able to say hi .

So new Disney app for iPhone. My Disney Experience- it seems ok. I want them to incorporate reservations and ADR's in them. It has a wish list feature which seems interesting....

You can make ADRs. But it seems limited to regular ADRs. Not the special dining packages that you can do on the website.

It would be nice if it listed your room reservations and ADR's. Similar to the website. It would actually be nice if they made a basic planning app that had reservations, ADRs, what park you wanted to visit, a must see wish list for that day and incorporate fast pass, wait times, show times... Hehe I just want it all! Hah!

Will be staying at POR Dec 10th-19th in a preferred room. This will be my 2nd ever trip to Disney and 1st at Christmas time. I am soo excited to be planning, the last time I was 12 - now 28 with a 2yo DS!!

welcome we are also doing pirates cruise on the 3rd we will have a little dis meet up what fun.

Oh yay, how exciting! My boys are so supper into pirates and Peter Pan right now, I can't wait for this cruise!

I am turning off my cellphone from Dec 10th thru the 15th at the Poly. Thats so the boss can't call me.(He did last time during wishes). Party of 4 with the free dining plan.

Can you add me to the roll call please, arriving the 14th Dec and leaving the 28th, staying at lbv. Also have 1 night booked at cbr and 1 night at hrh. Just me and ds who is 8. My 3rd trip to wdw but his first, also our first xmas away.

With the expansion of free dining we were able to rebook our Free Dining PIN to GP and upgrade to POR for about the same as we were paying at POP/upgraded dining. We are so excited and vacation can not get here quick enough.

We went a couple years ago and found this going on all over the parks, including the MVMCP stuff. I didn't know if this was normal or if we just lucked out.

We went a couple years ago and found this going on all over the parks, including the MVMCP stuff. I didn't know if this was normal or if we just lucked out.

We go early to mid December most years and the only year I rememer that is 2008 when all Holiday merchandise was 40% off.

It's more likely that you will have trouble finding 2012 merchandise. I think they have gotten more conservative about ordering dated stuff so they won't get stuck with it. So I now order my dated things off Disneystore.com in advance of our December trip for that reason.

Never fear though. You won't have any trouble at all finding 2013 stuff!

was listed for the 22, but now that free dining was added for the 20th, we will now be there the 20-26 at POP.....wanted to go moderate but the kids and DH won out with their wants for POP! cant wait...
so, here are the new plans:
Dec 18: leave Iowa hopefully by 3-330pm drive til 10:30 ish
Dec 19: up and drive all day hope to make the Florida border
Dec 20: up early and leave for Disney! Hope to be at POP by 9am grab our keys(tickets) and hit the parks a runnin!
The rest of the time is up for what ever our mood hits us.....
Dec 26:enjoy the last day
Dec 27-28: Drive and enjoy Sarasota(Siesta Keys & Family) then on to Miami
Dec 29 must head back to the cold of Iowa
