Lol that's what I thought most of the time dis has more accurate information thanks tofubeast .

I'm finding that the DIS has more accurate information than the CM's or some TA's have.

Valgoof - Just put two and two together, and realized we're both from NE OH and heading to WDW on the same day. What time are you flying to Orlando? Might we be running into each other at the airport?

Flying out of Columbus at 7:30ish. Guessing you fly out of Cleveland. We will have to compare schedules. I know I read yours but I didnt match it up to mine to see if we might cross paths. We are staying at POP so we will be close by.

Tofu--I thought of you this morning driving into work. There was no antenna topper, but the car in front of me had ILVDSNY as their license plate and a family of Mickey heads, instead of stick people on their back window. I am in OH, so very unusual up here. I wanted to pass them so they could see my Minnie Mouse antenna topper, but it didn't work out.

This is my first post! Hope I am doing it right. This will be our first trip to Disney during the Christmas season. We are so excited. We are staying at Pop from Dec. 13-19! Also our first stay at Pop!

my hubby is from Warren Ohio (close to Youngstown). I've turned him into a Cardinal's fan though.

DH and I honeymooned in St. Louis and went to 3 Reds/Cardinals games. Best fans in baseball!! We wore our Reds gear everywhere and got nothing but good-natured teasing and even compliments when the Reds had won the night before. So we are not Cardinals fan, but we are big St. Louis fans. And Disney fans. (Just to get it back on topic) LOL

Ok, so a bit more to go with my earlier post!

As I mentioned, my family of 4 will be arriving December 10th and sadly leaving December 15th. Each of us will be celebrating our very first trip to Disney World! We are staying at Port Orleans French Quarter and I am STOKED that we got free dining!! After the World, we will spend 4 days on board the Disney Dream to the Bahamas. Ahhh, I am sooooo excited!!!

I am looking forward to everything that Disney has to offer! We will be visiting all 4 parks, but did not get hoppers. We will be driving down, so we will have our own transportation.

Thanks everybody for making me feel so welcome! I should have posted sooner, it wasn't as hard to figure out as I thought it would be

So here is our tentative schedule for the first part of our trip. My husbands family is supposed to be joining us for the second part, but they haven't made any hotel reservations or anything yet (which is making me crazy!), so I'm just leaving our schedule totally open.

Nov. 29 - drive down

Nov. 30 - MK with 8:40am reservation at The Crystal Palace. I am a little nervous about this day because of the parade taping. Does anyone know how bad it might be?

Dec. 1 - Epcot

Dec. 2 - Free day, check out resort decorations

Dec. 3 - My hubby's birthday! 7am reservation at Chef Mickey's (I would like any advice about the best way to get there from POR that early), spend the morning at HS, go back to the room for a nap, Pirates and Pals cruise at 6:30, then to MK for EMH.

Dec. 4 - Free day

Dec. 5 - AK @8 for EMH, reservations at Tusker House @ 10:25, afternoon break, then to MK with 6:10pm reservations at Tony's (hoping to sit on the porch and to be able to see ELP, has anyone done this?)

Dec. 6 - HS, reservations at Hollywood and Vine @ 8:20am, afternoon break, reservations at Sci-Fi Dine In Theater @ 8:15pm.

Dec 7 - Not sure what park this day, whichever ones we haven't seen enough of yet. I'd really like to have a picnic on the beach at the Polynesian to watch Holiday Wishes this night. Has anyone ever done this? Can you just drive over and park there without having reservations at one of their restaurants?

Dec. 8 - My hubby's family is supposed to arrive. No plans yet from Dec. 8-Dec. 13.

I'm really trying not to plan too much. All three of my boys are on the autism spectrum (my oldest who will be 8 is the most affected, my youngest who will be 4 is barely noticeable and my middle one who is 5 is in the middle), so we will need lots of down time. We took them in February for three nights, with just one day in Magic Kingdom just to see how they would react and to make sure it wouldn't be too much for them. They really loved it and did alot better than I thought they would. They can't wait to go back and see it all!

Any and all advice or tips would be greatly appreciated
