**December 2012 Roll Call** Holidays, FLE Opening & MVMCP!! A very, merry thread!

You would almost think Christmas week is a low crowd level time to go!

I know the roll call is top heavy because DISers know how busy the Christmas week is...but I'm thinking that Disney is a little underwhelmed by the bookings later in the month, too. I can't imagine why else they would extend the FD promotion by an extra week, unless they were desperate to fill rooms.

Which is a good sign for me. Hopefully it'll mean smaller crowds!

Sorry, Valgoof, somehow I missed your post until now. FD isn't offered for AoA LM rooms...only in the suites. But when I priced out everything my post, I figured all rooms with Deluxe Dining plan.

So...staying with AoA LM is $186 more than moving to a moderate. But, I think that we'll enjoy the themed room at AoA. And even though I've heard lots of arguments from both sides, bussing at the mods scares me a little bit. Plus, we wouldn't be taking advantage of the pools, so those are moot point. As are the food courts, since we'll only be doing two meals at the resort (both breakfast, probably pastries using snack credits).

In other news, summer classes are officially done. Which means: only one semester until I'm at Disney!

No worries. I saw on another thread you posted about staying with AoA instead of switching to get free dining. I think it's a good choice.

Does anyone have any experience with the fort wilderness sleigh rides? I was thinking of booking one for our honeymoon as an added surprise. Are they worth the time/money?

WElcome! We overlap just a little bit as we'll be arriving POR on Dec 10th (or Dec 9th IF they decide to offer FD on that day as well)! Christmas-time at Disney is very magical! You should have enough time to take in all the sights and not make yourself crazy
