Super excited, I have booked my ADRs now for our trip! CP at Coral Reef with Gary Sinise, Kona Cafe, 1900 Park Fare, CRT and 'Ohana breakfast!!!! Besides CRT these are all new restaurants for us to try, last time we were there was in 2005! :)

I received our first pin in the mail!!!! I just got off of the phone with a nice CM and I saved 30% off of my resort stay!! I've been hoping for one for weeks now. Now just 162 days to go! :cool1:

I haven't been on here in a while. I just booked my husband and I's flight tickets. I had been waiting until I got enough swagbucks to get a $50 gift card, but when I checked our flight dates this morning, they were $60 less so I hurried up and booked them! I'll just get the $50 in paypal to put towards our package. We won't be getting any extra tickets for any of the special events, but we don't care about them all that much anyways. All we wanted in the beginning was to be able to see all of the lights at Disney during Christmas time and that's what we're getting! I'M SO EXCITED!!! 146 days to go!:cool1:pixiedust:

I echo mom2rtk - 13 days is way long enough to be able to get everything done at a good pace. My tour plan is literally which park which day and our ADRS. Everything in between we wing it and enjoy :)
That's what I have too, just parks based around our ADRs, though we only have 10 park days. I also put loose goals into the schedule, ie, if we're planning on spending time there during an EMH, get the E-tickets that are open done. If we're getting there midday due to an ADR, then orient towards the shows and 'experiences', like the Boneyard. Certain rides I think will be better on an evening visit like Jungle Cruise (a lot of our days are predicated on a day park and an evening park, with a nap in our villa in the mid afternoon for the 4, 6, and 7 year olds though parents may alternate and power through it). Pretty much the second set of 5 days we'll be playing by ear and just doing the stuff we missed and/or really liked a second time.

We went to Kouzzina last year and we'll be going again in December. We enjoyed it. We're big foodies so it was interesting enough for us but tame enough that we're comfortable taking the in-laws. The quality was very good. We particularly enjoyed the wine. I would definitely recommend it. :thumbsup2

Ooh that's awesome. I picked that for my b-day meal since I :lovestruc Greek food, and even though stateside Greek food is never as good as the stuff I had when I was in Greece, even a close facsimile is awesome.

LGMH stands for Lime Green Mickey Heads and it is how DISers identify each other in the parks!
I want one! I can see from an above post that people used to get them as paint chips at Home Depot ... does anybody know where you get get one now? Or does everybody just make their own? I'd love to have one but not very crafty and usually don't print much since I'm a digital kind of gal.

Do you guys have a pattern you use for the LGMH?

We will never get free dining even without our dates we chose this trip because we go DVC :( Boooo who doesn't like free food Ahahaha

There is at least one on these boards. Use the search box on the main DISboard's page. I also did a Google search and came up with a few as well. Of course, I also got a lot of DISer's LGMH's as well. It was nice seeing how each one personalized it.

I'm holding out for a room only discount code since we already have our park tickets and it won't be cost effective for us to get more tickets and book free dining.

Me too. Dining plan doesn't work for us, free or not. We're using TIW this trip. And crossing our fingers for an RO discount. Though I'm not super optimistic since we have a 2 BDR Villa. Still, one can always hope.

Hey, another question. I'm thinking about subscribing to one of the Touring Plans for the wait time app. Do you get to just download it to one phone with a subscription or could I download the app to both mine and DH's or better yet, my DGF's? Darn I have to go back and research that again ...

MouseWait was pretty good for DLR, I liked it mainly for the FP info of what times they were being given out for as to whether it was worth it to send a runner for one. So I guess my main priority would be FP/wait time info on a TP app if you guys want to tell me your favorites again.

That is exactly what happened to me except I had already ordered the giftcard, but it hadn't arrived, so I booked anyway. Now I have an excuse to fly somewhere b/c I have the giftcard still. :thumbsup2

I must have missed the original post by pequele, but I went ahead & made him/her a LGMH just in case it was still wanted ;) I'm also attaching blank one's if you guys don't want me to make you one!

Joining In! November 27-Dec 5th.

We are staying at POP. We were originally booked Nov 27-Dec 4 at LM but made the change when I saw that LM rooms wouldn't be included in free dining when it is released. ( I also went ahead and added a day when I made the switch to heal the pain :rotfl:)

Very excited for this trip it will be DS's second trip. He was 7 months at our first trip and will be 16 months on this one so I am excited to see all of his reactions this time around.

These rock! I was just thinking about adding a Santa Hat to mine. I'm totally printing these for our trip. :-)

Hi everybody! :wave2: Long time lurker but this is my first post here (gaaah I hope I'm doing this right lol) but I'll be going to WDW on Dec. 11-18 (these dates may change, we're thinking about extending the trip) with my Mama and we're staying at the AOA and I AM SOOOO EXCITED!!!!!!!!!

I've been to Disney a couple times in December before and I LOVE it, the weather, the Christmas decorations, everything! It really is such a beautiful time to be there, and I've never been there in mid December before so I'm anxious to see what the temp's and crowds are like. I hope they're as great as the beginning of the month.

Joining in... We are booked at Pop from Nov. 28th-Dec.8th.

Called this morning to get the free dining. We paid the price to upgrade from quick to basic. This will be our 3rd December trip. We found out last year that it is truly our favorite time to visit. Love the cooler temps and the low crowds.

Our cast includes: me (Mom), Dad, DS12 and DD9

We're doing MVMCP on Thursday, Nov. 29th

What was the cost of the upgrade? I'm thinking about doing this too... :thumbsup2

Joining in!

Caribbean Beach, Dec 27-Jan 1. Preferred room. Hoping for Jamaica again (we just visited in March and had Jamaica and LOVED it).

Cast is myself and DS 8.

We are doing our usual faves - Chef Mickey's, Tusker House and lunch at Le Cellier - with new additions being 50's Prime Time, Garden Grill and 'Ohana. As you can see there are 6 meals, so one will be OOP...suggestions? Waiting anxiously for Wishes Dessert Party to open for booking...hoping for NYE. DS loves character meals and my fave is Le Cellier.

Have lurked since our trip in 2010 and finally decided to join in.

What are the date restrictions on the FD? Do you think they'll open it up to the public soon? I think we'd be better off with FD since DD is a "Disney adult." We are dining deluxe, so we'd still have to pay for the upgrade. Right now we have 30% off the Poly for 12/4-12/11.

These are the current promotion dates for Disney Visa card holders. The general public is supposed to receive this same offer on Thursday. Unfortunately, I think you would have to change your dates because your check-in date must fall during one of these windows. Hope this makes sense. I'm pretty new to this, but from all I've read this seems correct.

9/30-10/4
10/19-11/1
11/9-11/15
11/23-11/29
12/10-12/13/12

We're having to pay OOP for two of our ts meals. I looked at the menus at all of our ts restaurants and figured the two cheapest meals (or meals we would be happy to settle for not getting a dessert, etc).....We want to eat at BOG so I'll have to see what their menu prices are before we know whether or not we can make this one OOP.

I'm pretty new here myself. It's so much fun and feeding my addiction until our trip gets here........5 months is a long time to suffer alone :rotfl2:
