Yep. The fall free dining dates are being released. Here is the link to the thread that everyone has been talking about: http://disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2951866

If you have the Disney Visa card, the free dining offer was released yesterday. The general public offer is being released on Thursday.

LOL. Have you counted how many times you have posted that link? It seems like you have been everywhere the last few days. Every time I read that question, I think 'where is cybrkitn with the link?' Nice job!! :thumbsup2You are getting as reliable as Robo with his maps. :rotfl:

We printed our MVMCP tickets! Woohoo! Slowly filing up my "important Disney" file folder. 143 days till we leave and 146 days till Disney! Spending two days in Ft Myers and then heading up to WDW. My boys are counting down! This pic was taken awhile back, so the numbers are different. :)

So exciting to get papers for the Disney folder!! 158 days here!!!! I told DH I would wait until 150 days to do a countdown. We dont have kids, so it is just for me. :lmao:

I still have my Home Depot LGMH from 2010. Kept it in my lanyard. But since I didn't get noticed last trip, I think I might have to go bigger. I blame myself. I mean, how noticable can a 1.5" x 2" paint card be on a 6' 315 lbs man?

hahaha...you can get 12x12 card stock at Michaels in LG :rotfl:

Hmmmm... You may have something there. Maybe I'll wear the 12" x 12" LGMH around my neck. I'll be the WDW version of Flavor Flav.

If nothing else, I'll definitely get noticed this time. ;)

:rotfl: No, I haven't :) I didn't know about that thread until someone else mentioned "dan". Initially, I thought it was on this thread, then did some checking and found it was another thread all together.

I'm on so many different threads and joining some that I figured it would be a good idea to let others know :)

Some of my tickets came in the mail yesterday :D I think that was the realization for me that this isn't a dream, and it's actually happening.

The Cirque du Soleil and MVMCP came :cool1:

Haha I feel the same way. We got our park tickets and our MVMCP tickets in the mail and I kinda just..stared at them for a while.

It's so close, yet so far!

We are doing CP with Gary Sinise also. Booked Biergarten for ours. What day and time is your CP?

We decided on the 6:45pm show on the 23rd. So our ADR is for 4pm. My husband is actually a lot more interested in seeing the CP now that he knows he is supposed to be the narrator!

Well most days I think I get more excited about updating it than they do! ;) There was no waiting until 150 days for me. Ha! We leave Sunday on a 10 hour road trip to MN. So hopefully those 7 days fly by! And I will see how the kids are on long road trips since we will be in the car for twice that long for WDW!

We drove last year about 17 hours. The ride down isn't too terrible because you are excited about Disney. The ride home is just depressing!! We are flying this year!!

I have the lines app on both mine and my BF phone, with only one subscription. Sometimes I just have to relog in. If you have the unofficial guide, you can subscribe to touring plans at a discount. For just a few bucks, it's worth it. I don't think their touring plan optimizer works well, but the crowd calendar and the app is wonderful. The app also has a menu feature, where you can look at the menus for all the resturants and even search for a specific food your hungry for.
Perfect! Thanks for sharing molitva! Exactly what I was hoping to hear. :thumbsup2

I think my mom is finally starting to realize that I'm taking her to Disney World, LOL! I think in the back of her mind she still thought I would cancel or something, but we have plane tickets, free dining and we are GOING! :drive:

Woo to the hoo!!!

Now the big question is... to MVMCP or not to MVMCP? Decisions, decisions!

Have you been before? I haven't so have definitely booked - it sounds awesome but then I love, love, love christmas :teeth:

They have a special Christmas Wishes fireworks display (different from the regular wishes and worth seeing so I hear), parade, snow on Main street, loads of meet & greets if thats your thing, hot chocolate and SANTA woo-hoo!! :teeth:

That is exactly what happened to me except I had already ordered the giftcard, but it hadn't arrived, so I booked anyway. Now I have an excuse to fly somewhere b/c I have the giftcard still. :thumbsup2

Yay for excuses to go on vacation! lol Enjoy your trip!!

I went with DH last year. We had fun, but I had placed it at the end of our first day and we spent a lot of the time riding rides etc. instead of doing the party stuff. We did see the parade, which was a lot of fun! The "snow" cracked me up. I'm from MI. I'll take soap snow over real snow any day!

That said, DH isn't big on Christmas, and mostly goes to Disney to humor me. :rotfl: I don't think I'd do MVMCP with him again.

My mom on the other hand... that woman could moonlight as one of Santa's Elves! She loves Christmas, and Disney. This is going to be a majorly nostalgic trip for us. I hadn't originally planned on going, but our last night is going to be a party night, so we'd have to clear out of MK by 7:00 if we don't go. I've learned that I really need to start and end my trips with MK, so it seems like it would be the perfect thing to do. We also don't have park hoppers, but with the party tickets we could do the morning at one of the other parks, and then bounce over to MK for MVMCP.

I think I may have just talked myself into it!

ETA: The original plan was to maybe do La Nouba our last night. But that would cost almost twice as much, and I just saw it last year. Plus, ending the trip with a special parade and Christmas Wishes.... um. Yes please.

I vote GO. Even without the parades, the shows, the free ho-cho and cookies, the dance parties, Wishes fireworks and the snow(p)... There is the non-existent lines. To give an example, when BDLsgal and I were at the party, we spent more time walking through the maze of ropes that was for Pirates of the Carribean, than we actually spent IN line. That and the fact that whe we looked up at Splash Mtn, every other log was empty.

But... the parades, the shows, the free ho-cho and cookies, the dance parties, Wishes fireworks and the snow(p) are awesome too.

EDIT: Saw that you went before and did it at the end of the 1st day. We did and are doing MVMCP on our Resort Decorations hopping day, so we'll be rested.

Done deal - you HAVE to go :rotfl: What are your dates?

It would be our last day, so we will probably be tired, but we can also sleep in a bit, go check out the decorations at the other resorts instead of hauling through a park etc. So it shouldn't be too bad. Hmm.

Done deal - you HAVE to go :rotfl: What are your dates?

Yeah, I'm leaning that way myself! :goodvibes You can't get much more Christmas and Disney than you do at MVMCP! We are going out of town this weekend to visit with my sister, and I'll talk it over with her then. Seems like it might be a great way to end the trip though!

ETA: We'll be there December 10 - 15, so we'd be going to the party on the 14th.

We decided against MVMCP. We love MNSSHP so much that I'm afraid this one will disappoint. Plus its lot of $$ for 6 people. So instead we booked California Grill on a party night so we can still see Holiday Wishes. And we're doing so much other holiday stuff, I don't think we'll miss it.m

We decided to do MVMCP because we wanted the extra hours. One of the nights we are there HS will close early to us for Pop Warner, so I didn't want that plus early closes for parties and we not get to attend! ;) Plus my boys are 6 and 2 so I think they will love it....I am hoping since it is early Dec that the lines will be shorter during the party than they would be closer to Christmas. I want to experience as much of the Christmas magic as I can!!

We're going to be there for the weekend that the Disney Christmas Day parade is taped. How do you get tickets to be part of this?
