Exciting news!! Just added 2 more nights to the end of our trip. We are now doing a split stay...10 nights at BW, then 2 nights at CR TPV!!

Was anyone able to get a Le Cellier ADR for before 1pm?

I wondered the same thing. :confused3 I could get 1:00 on three differnt days but nothing earlier. I checked every hour this afternoon to see if earlier times have opened up. Weird.

Thank you!!! Thank you!!! I was able to get Le Cellier for 1:10 which was within the time window I wanted!!!! :cheer2:

How do you guys decide what times to make your reservations for? I usually weigh what days we have big breakfast's planned and make sure we either do counter service for lunch or a very late table service lunch. It's just hubby and I so I don't have to worry about a tired and cranky child.....unless you want to count dh. hahaha :rotfl2:

:beach: <---- this was me out by my pool today with the kids while my travel agent got us our LE CELLIER ADR !!!!!!

:cheer2::cheer2::cheer2::cheer2::cheer2::cheer2::cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:

So glad everyone was able to secure their ADR's too!!! :cool1::cool1::cool1:

Feels pretty good to know that on 12/06 at 1:20, I'll be sitting in Le Cellier enjoying some beer cheese soup.

:thumbsup2:thumbsup2:thumbsup2:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

So happy some of the CP package restaurants were released for booking! Scored Coral Reef for the day we saved an opening for lunch at Epcot!! WooHoo!! I wanted 1:00, but there were only two times left - 12:00 and 2:35, I snagged 2:35 since our 9:30 breakfast will still be sitting heavy at 12. Happy with that!

We usually do one table service a day and split quick service meals because we are not big eaters but still foodies :) We go have been traveling the past two years with a my 2 daughters who are now 1 & 3. Our dining is based on naps - they usually sleep (or do quiet time) during 1-4 which is why I was looking for an earlier lunch time at Le Cellier - however my kids are pretty good at going with the flow too, I just try to make it easy on all of us. Plus I like relaxing the villa for a few hours! We also do dinners either early at 4 and then go to a park and do a later snacl, or around 6-630 and then take them back for bed shortly after dinner. Breakfasts are at like 7am because we are all early risers.

If it was just my hubby and I - we would eat wherever my obessive scheduling permitted. And they do count as cranky children! I have been picking up snacks for the girls to ship down prior with diapers etc, and I have made getting his snacks just as much of a priority because he has mini meltdowns too!!

I wonder if they're only allowing the EARLIEST lunch times to be booked for CP? :confused3 *MAYBE* my 11:30 slot will open up after the 6/26 rush! I was on there about 1:45 today & only had the option of LeC at 1pm.

Fingers crossed we can get an 11:30 slot before December! Has anyone ever had any luck showing up early (like 11:30 for a 1:30 ADR) and getting in early?

We generally only do dinner TS unless we are doing a character breakfast (ie Chef Mickey). We aren't big breakfast eaters, so we normally save on that by having something quick in our room as we dress - fruit, granola bars, pop tarts (DDs are 5 and 8 - as long as DH and I get our coffee, we don't eat breakfast usually).

For lunch we always do CS. We've never done a TS lunch. For us it's just easier that way rather than try to plan where to be smack dab in the middle of our day.

For the dinner TS reservations, I usually just aim for around the 6pm time frame unless we're working around something at a specific time - ie Fantasmic, or dinner the night MK closes early for MVMCP (we get a 6:30 ressie that night so we can stay in the park later and watch the characters walk around).

Back before we had DD, we did TS dinners every night around 6:30-7. We would take granola bars for breakfast well I did DH doesn't always eat breakfast... and we would always do one character breakfast. The day we did the breakfast we would do two counter services or eat dinner at DTD at the like Rainforest.

I make sure meals are planned around DD typical eating times with an exception or two, like we are doing a late breakfast one day because on a recent trip when we did this and got her a snack at her regular breakfast time she did better in the restaurant, even ate better.

Naturally the one day I don't have time to check in...

Fortunately I was still able to get exactly what I wanted - Le Cellier (6pm) and Rose & Crown 8:30pm. And now I can sleep in on the 26th. :cool1:

I also booked my flights. I wasn't going to do it this early, but after analyzing it, I realized that we never take the cheapest anymore anyway because the times are so lousy. So when I found good prices out of BWI, I jumped on them. BWI is usually much more expensive than flying out of DC but its so much more convenient for us. And I used credit card points so I paid less than half out of pocket.

And now most of my planning is done. We're not doing CP or BOG. So I'm down to making my park plàns. But it's early for that yet. What will I do for the next 5 months. :confused3

I need some help!!! We are surprising our kids (ages 6 and 13) with our trip to Disney as part of their Christmas present. They get out of school at noon on December 14th and we are going to somehow surprise them after school and hit the road for a week in WDW! I need suggestions on how to actually let them know where we are going. We spent a week there this past December and told them that it would be at least 2 years before we went back. They are going to be absolutely shocked when they find out. Not to mention that their cousins (3 of them) and their grandparents are going also. Any creative suggestions would be welcomed!!! Thank you!!! :santa:

I would take a family photo with one of the characters from your last trip and cut it into pieces and give the kids one piece at a time. It would be a puzzle....and give it to them while they were in the back seat on your way to Orlando :)
