Yep. Sold out is sold out. And if the new Fantasyland is open, that's more room to absorb the bodies. Finally. Last year with less real estate was really cramped.

That's what my DH said, "more space to spread out", but I'm guessing most folks will be in that space, so maybe other things won't be so crowded...and girl can dream, right? :rolleyes1

Speaking of Fantasyland, now I'm trying to figure out our dining options for while we're doing our two MK days.

So far, I've booked the following:
Tuesday: Breakfast at Crystal Palace (8:10AM), early dinner at 'Ohana (4:45PM), MVMCP
Wednesday: Breakfast at Cinderella's Royal Table (8:05AM), dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern (6:25PM).

I don't have lunch booked either day, but we'll probably do a snack for lunch on Wednesday, since we're skipping to Epcot for the Seas Aqua Tour that day.

I'd like to work BOG into this somehow, but I'm not sure how. I'm already tight on dining credits, but could make it work if needed. I'd prefer to not need to do BOG for lunch, because I feel like it'll be jam packed, and they don't have ADRs for lunch. One thought is to drop Liberty Tree, and replace it with a BOG dinner.

Thoughts? Comments? Opinions? All would be greatly appreciated...

Well I was kind of having a bad day but came on here and you guys cheered me up! :goodvibes It seems like I will be the only one attending 12/6 MVMCP...good! :rotfl:

We can keep a nice tidy list of MVMCP guests here if you like! Please add your name! https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AuKRA20FjgSVdGtiTjRXZkNuZEhIZ0hLZERGdUpGUVE

Tofubeast maybe we can add this link to the first few posts??

Were you able to order your tickets for the 6th online? It looks like I should be able to preorder for that date but when I tried to it wouldnt let me. I wonder if they changed it now that they have announced the 6th as the opening of the new FantasyLand?

Ok... You legitimately scared me. I just emailed my AAA agent to make sure that she purchased my MVMCP tix. I know she won't see it til tomorrow, but I want it to be the 1st thing she sees. Cuz you made a great point. There may be people that buy MVMCP tix just to see the new Fantasyland. And I don't want to miss to miss out cuz it's sold out.

I tried to order tickets for the 12/06 party online and it looks like they arent available for preorder. :confused3

Hey, anything that could make Main Street a little less congested would be a great thing. I really noticed a difference when they closed Toontown. Of course, the princess and Mickey/Minnie meet & greets would still be in Town Square Theater, so maybe there's just nothing that could diminish that congestion until Fairytale Hall opens in 2013.

I agree replace LTT with BOG if you can. Or maybe you can share a lunch on Tuesday at BOG. You may not need a whole lot of food with the breakfast buffet and then Ohana. Maybe if you arent hungry, just see if you can look around BOG. Not sure how that would work, but I really want to see the ballroom!!!

They are on there. I just checked. There is one spot that says they go on sale on 12/6 but then above that is the advanced purchase selection.

How busy are Friday night MVMCP compared to other week nights? I have tried and tried to switch around my schedule to get another night, but it looks like we might be stuck with a Friday night.

As the size is bigger, will they up capacity though? I hope not, I like your thinking much better! :thumbsup2

OK more confusion- I just called Disney Dining and was told that BOG will open December 3rd and there is no set date for taking reservations. Anyone else want to try? 407 939-3463

You know I will .... remember, I'm the one calling constantly, I'm working on the whole theory of if I brow-beat enough, they'll just open it to stop me calling. I can even hear their eyes rolling when they realise its me .... again :rotfl:

Here's what I found out ...

All their information lists the 6th Dec as opening, she did not know where the 3rd Dec came from so, she would assume, it was an opening date for the CM's. All new attractions/resorts/restaurants open earlier for the CMs to test-run it first.

As for reservation start date, she said 28th Aug is not set in stone, its a guideline date so she suggested to start calling in the 3rd week of Aug and ask if their information had been updated yet.

When ressies go live, we will be able to book at 6am online, it will not go live via phones first as some have been suggesting.

So, we're still totally in the dark with varying different information :teeth:

I was able to buy our tickets online yesterday for this day.

I'm definitely avoiding BOG at lunch for this trip. I wanted to do it but I never do TS dinners in the park, especially at MK - interferes too much with seeing what I want to see. So I guess we'll be passing this trip.

If you want a dinner ADR though, I would probably drop Liberty Tree for BOG. Both the restaurant and the food look really great. :)

Just something to keep in mind - the online system is supposed to be updated by 6am each day. Sometimes it's a little earlier. Sometimes it's late.

This happened last year for F&W. Online wasn't updated until like 10am. And when the phones opened at 7 the system overloaded. It was awful.

So the moral is - always be prepared to call at 7am if the online system isn't ready.

Funny story to share with you (at leats I thought it was funny).

I looked at the calendar and I noticed, that today was a Thursday. We are flying to FLA on a Thursday. So I counted all the Thursdays between now and then. So I IM BDLsgal

Me: Exactly 17 weeks away.

Her reply: YAY. We gotta get on finishing our xmas shopping

The screeching you hear are the brakes that are being used that snapped us back to reality. :drive:

To be fair, her and her family are pro-active when it comes to Christmas shopping. Me, I'm the guy you see on the 6pm news on Christmas Eve just starting my Xmas shopping.

But after that, I showed her a couple of Xmas picture themed threads. Then the Disney magic worked it's mojo. And some additional side trips start materializing.

We balance each other pretty well

Just saw this and it gave me a good chuckle:

We just booked 9 nights at Disney's Dolphin resort. 12/23-1/1! I have been to Disney for Christmas several times but it's DH's, DD's & DS' 1st time going for the holidays! Super excited! And my parents, brother and sister will also be going. December 24, yes Christmas Eve, is my mom's 60th birthday and my husband's 31st! Going to be the best Christmas ever! Can't wait!
