Wohoo we just upgraded to the Caribbean Beach Resort!

That is the only moderate resort I have never stayed at, so now I am nervous and excited. I hope everyone likes it.

Do you read trip reports? If so, look for mickeystoontown. Her family always stays at CBR and love it. She has several reports from there.

We're going to MVMCP the same night FLE opens - yikes!!! Anybody else! I have mixed emotions! Do we think the park and party will be crazy busy b/c of it? I'm super excited to be at WDW on an opening day of something, though! Think there will be some cool stuff like they had for Cars Land? At least a pin or something?

That's our MVMCP night as well. Like you I have mixed emotions. Not going to the park during the day. Figured we would just go in the evening. Use this day to rest up a little. I guess we'll find out what it's like when we get there.

I pre ordered photopass plus about a month ago.... I love the stock photos they sent me. However, being a camera dork myself (I'll be bringing my Nikon D70 and a couple lenses with me for the first time to Disney) What I look forward to is not having to pass a camera back and forth with a photopass photographer, the ride photos, and we have ADR's at CRT, Chef Mickey's and the Hoop Dee Doo. However, I plan on taking HUGE advantage of it and getting tons of pics and magic shots. I usually download a couple and have them printed because they have also caught really great candid moments such as my daughter at 13 months wrapping her arms around pooh giving him the best most loviest hug. I think they spend as much time as they can with both groups and couples. They know were all easy targets to spend our $$$

Oh and photopass+ is a red card so all the photopass photographers already know you bought a CD and you can add regular photopass cards to your CD but can only get the special ride and character photos added to the red card.

OK off topic but I have to vent. I went on the United website just to check flights and noticed that our flight out has been changed-no email to notify us. This happens all the time and usually the change is only a few minutes difference. This time they have us landing in Chicago after the next flight to Orlando takes off! So I called and changed it but now we get in at 11:45pm. Aargh.

So check your flights regularly folks.

Just to clarify, photos from character meals can go on regular photopass too, IF you buy the package. When you get the photos, on the outside margin of the large photo is a photopass code to enter into your account.

Yeah it's just the picture you take in the beginning of the meals (the photographers don't follow characters at dining) but still fun and an added value for me. I could never part with my $$ for the photo packages so the pics being on the CD is pretty awesome. I'm also hoping because I preordered I can potentially get a deal on a photo book or 3 or 4 (Xmas gifts for family who is going)

My daughter and I are going from Dec. 20 - Jan. 2. Her birthday is Christmas Eve, so we plan to celebrate at Magic Kingdom. This is our first trip in December, but my 16th trip to DisneyWorld. I'm staying off off site. Can't wait for December !

Yep. Sold out is sold out. And if the new Fantasyland is open, that's more room to absorb the bodies. Finally. Last year with less real estate was really cramped.

I have a plan A trip and a plan B trip for December. Plan A is a student group (YES Program) from my college Dec. 13 - 17, MCMCP on the 14th staying at one of the All-Stars. Waiting on Administration approval, they better hurry, those rooms might be full!
Plan B is a trip for my sons and I if the college trip doesn't work. Dec. 13 - 18 staying at Coronado Springs, FREE dining and MVMCP on the 14th. Reservations are made for this one, I just couldn't stand the thought of missing free dining if I had to book late.
