You think more and more people will be going in December for fantasyland opening?

I will be making my first solo trip (divorced in May) from November 25-December 1. I will be staying at POP Century and really need some Disney holiday magic. Not really nervous about going solo but i havent been 'me' in a long time. Ive always been outgoing, makes friends easy but that part has me has left. Im hoping that this solo trip coupled with disney magic will help me find myself again : )

I think it depends on how broadly Disney markets this to the general public. Right now I would think the only people who know are people like us. There are some people on the boards who have shifted from Oct/Nov to Dec because of this but I doubt that's a significant number in the grand scheme if things.

I think a Disney vacation is just what you need

Agree - our neighbours go to Disney every year. They call Disney direct book everything over the phone and they're done. They don't do any research. They didn't even know it was an expansion to Fantasyland, just thought a ride was being put in. They have no idea there is a grand opening either.

We will be in Disney Dec 29th - Jan 5th this year. This will be our fifth Disney trip in Dec. We just really like the atmosphere and decorations. We are staying at AKV - Jambo House. So looking forward to going...

Happy and excited to be going Dec 10-15, Dh, me and dgs (6) dgs 6. Staying at AKL CL, 5 day PH and reg Dining Plan. I have made some tentative ADR's for just in case as we go forward. Once we get closer we will start really planning with the boys on where to eat. Right now we are trying to convince them we should at least go to DHS, they only want to go to AK/MK. But, I want them to see the Osbourne Lights and Fantasmic.

I am beyond excited to be starting to be 'allowed' to take the grandbabies to my happy place. Now that all the parents have gotten to see the 'first time' at WDW, we get to start returning visits!

I have felt that way for a long time too...although mine is based on ex-boyfriends and husbands. This will be my first trip ever for just me an day daughter and I am really looking forward to it. I'm sure your trip will be fantastic and just what you need its too bad you're going a month before me or we could meet up

Isn't that a great feeling? Mine will be 6 weeks from now. However this is the first time we will be 100% paid off ahead of time and we are paying for additional people I'm finally starting to feel like a grown up

So I am looking for a pick me up (I think the paint fumes from re-doing so much of my house are finally getting to me, however painting ugly cabinets much better than replacing) So I go on the disboards to check out the roll call... You have done an awesome job with links, lists, working with others for contests etc.... It got me thinking... When is your next vacation so I know what month to plan mine - I really need to be able to join an awesome roll call again!

Aww you just made me have a huge smile! Thanks so much for your sweet words. This is the first roll call I have ever 'managed', and it's a lot of fun. I am not sure when my next trip will be, but I was thinking about doing another Mommy/Daughter/and now Granddaughter trip perhaps after T-day (before the APs expire).

Congrats JLA. That must've been a Happy Dance inducing moment.

I recently just made a big payment myself (flights, MVMCP tix and some to the balance & I got some big news from a buddy, I included in my PTR), and then just seeing how much was remaining was a sigh of relief.

So, here we all are... A season and a month away. And those of you that are arriving in Nov, your Double Digit Dance Day is right around the corner.

woohoo awesome! I have $930 left. I finally got my extra 5% off coupon from target for my perscriptions so I plan on buying gift cards to pay it off in the next week or so. I just hope they have 18 cards in stock.
