**December 2012 Roll Call** Holidays, FLE Opening & MVMCP!! A very, merry thread!

So now that Disney extended free dining until 12/20, I'm debating switching hotels. I've priced the following out:
AOA w Deluxe Dining - $2345 (currently booked)
All Star with Deluxe Dining - $1883
Port Orleans with Deluxe Dining - $2181
Caribbean Resort King Bed with Deluxe Dining - $2349

Staying AOA would be fun because Abby (my travel partner) loves Ariel, and it's a new resort so I'm sure it'll be in great shape. But a moderate would give us more room, better bussing, and a better location in terms of placement of the resort.

Staying on deluxe dining makes sense because our booked ADRs count for 30 TS credits.

If we go the moderate route, are there moderates you would recommend? Ones to stay away from?

I had a similar debate while on the phone with a CM. I vote AoA. You each get your own bed, so the double bed isnt a big concern. AoA has it's own bus with one stop. Mods have multiple stops within the resort. I know at POP, there is a real line for the buses. At mods it's kind of a free for all. Not sure how AoA's bus stop is set up. LM rooms are far from the main building, but you are both young and fit, so that shouldnt be an issue. I have seen your schedule. You wont be at the resort much, so no need for a lot of extra amenities. And she loves Ariel?? Yep, I vote AoA.

So levenhopper, you can use that number as a starting point to guess where we are at as of say 9pm EST on October 17th? (45 days prior as you stated)

I know you said you will post a spreadsheet for people to post their guesses. When is the closing date for people to post their guesses? We should make it soon I would think. Maybe a week or so? And only one person per number guess so as to hopefully prevent a tie. This is awesome. Thanks for making the Roll Call even more fun, and... interesting!

The buses are not necessarily better at moderates. If you aren't staying all that long at the resort, stick with what you have. I think AoA would be a fine choice especially if you are going with a lover of LM. BUT, the moderates are nice too and a queen size bed is great to have. *You will have queen size at all mods but CBR*. I personally love CSR. Great bus service, a little more deluxe in decor with a sliding door to bathroom area, and a big pool (and biggest hot tub at WDW).

The suites are included, only the Little Mermaid stand rooms are excluded for the FD promo.

I would make it more than a week. Not everyone checks as frequently as some of us..

No way!! Some people don't check the same threads 6 times a day? Not that I do that or anything. My DH always asks if I was busy at work. I usually say a little bit. Then he says how much time did you spend on the dis? If I was only on once or twice, then he knows I must have been busy!

That is VERY VERY good news. Now if only I were a couple hours closer to WDW. I would say take advantage of the passholder preview. Oh well, at least I get to see it in December!
