That's logical.. which would suggest a new public offer around the 12th...

One interesting aspect, is the slim possibility that the new offer could extend into 2012. As 2012 prices are already out, it is theoretically possible they could offer discounts early. Last year, the announced 2012 pricing in early August, and announced wide ranging discounts 2 weeks later.
If they want to continue to encourage early booking, it is *possible* they may again release 2012 discounts "early." At least I'm hoping... not that I expect it to happen though.

That very thought crossed my mind when they announced the ticket price increase and 2012 prices early.

I haven't read this entire thread, but just want to give some info about last year. I found out I had a PIN for free dining that would go into affect July 13 (2010)----but then the public code for FD came out about a week before that. The good thing was that my PIN included Pop Warner week, which is when we had decided to travel (not because of PW), and the public code excluded those dates. So, it's still a little early for discounts based on last year's release. Also, I just used a PIN this year for Dec. 8-13 that was a room discount if I booked a package (at least a 1 day base ticket). I've calculated that I'm getting about a 35% discount on the room at POFQ. When I asked what the PIN was actually for, they said it doesn't really specify, just says that it's a 10%, 20%, or 30% discount on the room when booking a package. The price I got seems to be a little more than that though. I guess it's whatever the room rate gods decreed! Anyway, that PIN expires for me on July 27th, so I know I won't be getting any other pin before then!

Called to see if I had any pins attached to my name. Had the same as everyone else. Mine expires on July 5th. Went ahead & used it but it's only about 10% off our rate at ASMu in a Family Suite. So, we only saved $201.

Better than nothing but hopefully something better comes out.

I said something about hoping for FD & the CM basically told me not to count on it. She said FD had already been done for those dates & they won't be doing it again. I kept my mouth shut since I haven't seen any FD for the dates my pin was for, which was Oct. something thru December 22. But whatever.

We have our December reservation through Dreams Unlimited. Went ahead and booked the Poly for 4 nights and then a Dreams cruise for 3 nights. Hoping for some special to come through...perhaps this month based on history.
Two years ago, we got a stay 4 nights and get 3 nights free which probably won't happen again, but that was great!

We just got a PIN offer for December. It says it is a total of 19% off. I am not sure if that is just room or what. I guess it is better than nothing but still not much! It will probably only save us $100.

I got it in an email, but it never hurts to call and ask It had to be booked by Feb 28, but there might be another, more current one.

We got a pin that looks exactly like the quick service dining plan that is being offered but it is fora free water park fun n more option and free park hopper! I was so bummed because I thought we could still save money with the cheaper ticket option but you have to have those options. That makes it the same exact price that we were looking at before with no discount and no park hopper!! Ugh I hope they will release something else.

It took 4 cast members before somebody figured out what exactly my PIN was for, so I booked right away. One of them tried to get me to book at rack rate, saying that was the price with my PIN! Um, no thanks, I'd like my $250 savings please.

We keep going back and forth about moving to The Dolphin with the teacher rate (a really good deal,) but I can't bring myself to pass up this PIN since this is a unique code that you don't see all the time. The PIN saves us $58 per night and the dining plan would "save" us about $70 (we also had a free dining PIN, no memory book required,) but we really don't eat as much as the dining plan requires and it wouldn't end up being as good of a value for us.

The 35% off PIN was received in an email in January or February of this year and the free dining PIN was linked to my name when I called in March. We always go in the summer, but the 35% off code wasn't good for the summer, so I'd been calling periodically throughout Feb, Mar, and April to see if I had any other codes attached to my name and they told me about the free dining one.

I'm looking/hoping for Friday. Alot of the PINs expire on Thursday so it's definitely a possibility.

I just hope Disney isn't going back to the mid-August fall discount release
