Thanks for this info. Dec 18 will be the only night that will work for our trip. Since it's not listed in the Advance purchase list, do you think that means the event day price is the price? And do you advance purchase may not be available for that date?

You should be able to buy your tickets for that date in advance, they will just be normal event price, no discount.

Yay!! I can finally plan with some real knowledge! My only problem now is that I've heard 2 different dates that they go on sale.

Prices for the party are as follows (all prices listed include tax):

Advance Purchase for November 8, 9, 11, 13, 15, 29, and 30; December 4, 6, 7, 11, 13, 14: $60.66 for adults 10 and older / $55.33 for ages 3-9

Passholder and DVC Member Discounts for November 8, 9, 11, 13, 15, 29, 30; December 4, 6: $56.40 / $51.07

Day of Event (if still available): $67.05 /$61.72

Tickets go on sale Sunday, May 1, 2011.
Purchase tickets in advance by calling (407) WDISNEY or (407) 934-7639.

Can we buy these on-line? I don't see the schedule anywhere on the Disney site.

Dec 17-22! We are doing MVMCP on the 18th! I am so excited for Christmas and it is only May! It will be my little boy's first trip. He'll be two, which is the same age my daughter was the first time we brought her.

Your dates are almost identical to ours! We are the 16th-23rd but we have tickets to the MVMCP on the 18th as well! So excited, too! Can't imagine what I will be like around October!!

We are looking foward to the MVMCP on the 16th. We have never been before, I hope it's worth the money I have read different things? Should I book now or wait til 180 days out when I do my dinning. I hope the Free Dinning plan comes back this year for Dec.

We have never been at Christmas time and decided to try the MVMCP 'just once.' We are going on the 18th. I went ahead and purchased our tickets because of the advanced discount rate and now I won't wrestle with the thought of 'what if they sell out for the date we want?' There was only one party date that fit into our travel plans.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I read somewhere, maybe allears.net that they do sell out - I just don't know how quickly? Anyone else?

Hmmm... we got them but maybe they were not discounted? We are using the Itinerary Planning Organizer at the Polynesian (we are staying club level) so I called and gave them my credit card info, the date we wanted and the number of tickets and they confirmed on Sunday, May 1st they had purchased the tickets. I will calculate out the cost and see if we got the advance discount rate or had to pay regular price. I will let you know here in a bit!
