come from special pincodes sometimes. Supposedly, Disney uses the special pincodes (selective marketing) as a way to gage what works best for a promo. If good results are ascertained from a particular, special pincode then Disney has a tendency to then go public with that offer. This is not a guarantee of the promo to go public, but it's a tool that Disney may or may not use.
Last year, there was a Disney Visa offer for
free dining for the fall and winter of 2008 with blockout dates. Many of us are hoping for this offer to repeat this year.
For those who receive the special pincodes, you have the ability of booking your stay sooner and it's easier to do so that way. Also, you will not have the same hassles of whether or not a resort will be available for the deal, etc. Most Disney public offers are limited in amount or rooms available at each resort for it.
ADRs for free dining is tougher no matter what. The public offer if there will be one may come later. Last year the Disney Visa offer did not come until mid September. The ADR 90 plus 10 day mark for the Thanksgiving/ Christmas holiday actually starts around August 20th or so. Many of you with the special pincodes will have your dinner reservations already booked before the so-called public code would even happen if it runs it's course like last year. Otherwise, everyone will have to compete and call bright and early on their designated day for dinner reservations. Good luck to all.
