Anything new on codes today???? The special offers page at Disney hasn't changed, but I wondered if anyone had heard anything new...

Nothing yet. Someone posted that this morning a CM told them Disney Visa deals could be booked tomorrow. Hope so!

Thanks for the update, hopefully there will be some public codes that we can use too! Would LOVE to have the visa, but DH prefers to live credit free... We will humor him for now, but hopefully after his first trip in december, he will change his mind!!

Well, called today for Dec 5 and Dec 6 (Sat/Sun) checking out on the 7th. Wanted a value, preferably Pop. Was told there are no standard rooms available for the AP discount on these dates (Not at Pop and Not at any of the All Stars either).

Does that mean there will be no Disney Visa discounted rooms at Pop?

Sure am disappointed!

A CM yesterday told me there were a certain # or % of rooms blocked for each discount, so that doesn't necessarily mean it will be sold out for DV or a public code.
But some resorts/rooms that book up fast (like standard WL around Christmas) may be booked up enough by the time codes come out that they're never available as part of a code.

AS OF 7/23/09: Annual Passholder and Florida resident rates are available at Walt Disney World resorts for stays through December 24!

I think it's at 7 Am
But you'll need to have the "code" before calling...You'll need it to book.
I Don't know the # off-hand but it is right on the WDW website in the reservations page.

I thought Pop Warner does not stay at Pop. They stay only at the All Stars. Also, the overflow from All Stars goes to a mod. Usually POR but I heard this year it is a different one. I think CSR but not 100% on that.

I chose Pop Century because Pop Warner kids would not be there! Right? If they are staying at all values, I would definately stick to the AP disount moderate.

This year they are everywhere. I ssem people post that they will be at all the values including the pop. POFQ,POR,andCSR. I have not heard one way or the other about CBR. I am so glad we check out on the 2nd.

It was discussed on the last CSR FAQ thread. Several people were debating changing their ressies from CSR b/c of pop warner and it was pointed out that they would be at all of the values and several of the moderate resorts, not just CSR this year. I am not certian, but I believed this was confirmed by Jamey, a CSR CM who is frequently on the thread. The theory was that a lot more of them were coming b/c family vactaions got cut due to the economy ect..

That news is discouraging. We've never been there before 12/11, but the other people in our group can't go at that time. We'll just have to deal with it.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news I guess better to know now than to show up and then have to deal with it. We have been told that they will be contained to the ranchos section of CSR however. It is fairly isolated from the other 2 sections of the resort, so hopefully the noise will be less of a problem for other guests. Most people traveling to CSR during Pop Warner are requsting not to be put in Ranchos. Mabye it will be helpful to find out what sections they will have them in and try to request another part of the resort??

Can anyone here give me some info on how the disney visa discounts work?We have a ressie that is paid in fuul for Nov 26-Dec2. i am twempted to get a disney visa tonight to take advantage of the disney visa discounts, but doesn't the trip have to be charged to the visa?? How would that work if I have already paid in full??
