I am pretty excited!

I applied the AP rate to our AKL stay (2 rooms Savannah view for 5 nights) and saved a bundle.

And then I upgraded my solo part of the trip (5 more nights) from POP to WL!!! I am super excited about that!

As an AP holder and because we are not eating a lot of sit-down meals, it made more sense for me to use the 40-42% off than to use the free dining.

I hope everyone has a great time when - I feel strongly it will come out - Free Dining is released!!

What days did you book for WL? I wasn't able to get WL at all for our dates.

Looks like no free dining for now: AP discounts typically match the Disney Visa discounts the next day...I suspect we will see the same public offers...unfortunately it doesn't beat our current 40 % off at a value. it's pretty good though, for those that didn't see it on the other thread:

No, 90 + 10 is not 100 days out. You can start booking on your 90th day out for your day of arrival + the 10 days of your vacation after that.

I was trying to make you feel better. I thought on site resort guests got a little extra advantage. I understand what you are saying, here.

For example, I want to stay at AKL with savannah view. Does anyone know whether those discounts may still apply to that view if the promo ad lists standard rooms? Often times it is just an example.

I'm really hoping a nice room code opens up. I already have tickets, so I'm not really interested in having to book a package just to get free dining.

Right now I have a split stay booked with an AAA discount. 3 nights at POP Century and 4 nights at the WL with a standard view room. I'd love to be able to change it over to an entire week at the WL.

Historically once a code gets released to the AP holders the same deal will be offered to the general public shortly thereafter. The AP discount released today was for room discounts, not FD, so you are probably in luck. I actually read somewhere that a CM told someone that FD would not be extended.

Okay, help me understand and crunch numbers...

I already have ressies from Dec 20-27 at ASMO... I made it weeks ago. I can't get my itinerary to show the nightly rate I'm paying...How do you know what you're paying per night??? I'm wondering if I can upgrade to a moderate for the same package price... How do I find out?

Do you have the cost before tax? If so, just subtract off the price of the tix and DDP, both of which you can more easily figure out.

I'm in the best mood today!! With the AP rates out, I switched both of our trips around.

In October, we were supposed to be at Coronado. By switching that to POFQ, I saved $239 for our Thursday - Sunday trip.

For December, we were able to get AKL for CHEAPER than we were paying at POFQ!

It's a good day!

Tax % on rooms is 12.5 %. (Though all-stars are 13.5 % for some reason.) Tax % on tickets is 6.5 %.
