Not to sound stupid, but what's the BRP? Your rates are great. I'll be at POR November 27 - December 3 & I have a AAA rate of $109. Thanks!!!

Jessica

BRP is the Best Rate Program offered online for annual passholders.

We are heading to Disney Dec17-22 and we can't wait...we too hope they extend the dining plan...staying at POP first time...looking forward to the cool weather this time of year in Orlando!

We just got back from POP at the end of Aug. but we are so eager to go back that I checked into rates for Christmas week. At first I was disappointed at the quotes I was getting but I kept checking different sites and finally late the other night I found a great rate for 7 nts starting 12/25 at POP including air from BOS to MCO for 4 at $2012!!! :Pinkbounc

It's a surprise for the kids. We are going to wrap the tickets up & present them Christmas morning. Just in time for them to run & get whatever they want to bring & head to the airport!

I just saw this on mousesavers.com ( and there's a thread about it here too):

A little bird tells me a special discounted Walt Disney World vacation package for late October through Christmas is coming very soon -- keep checking back!

CROSSING MY FINGERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I will take anything right now, please be something I can use for a 7 night trip!!!!!!

I would LOVE to have the free dining :lovestruc In fact, I think I deserve it! :teeth: I had informed my sister about the free dining which she knew nothing about and was able to get it on the reservations she already had made for Sept. So I saved her $800+ I'm only asking for $500+ ;)

I'm already rearranging my ARs in my head...please be free dining! Hmm... wonder if it's too late to get an AR for Hoopty Doo Revue for the third week of Dec......or mabey we'll try California Grill. I'm getting WAAAAYYY ahead of myself...guess I should wait until the offer comes out :rotfl2:

While I'm excited to hear they might be coming out with a great offer, I am also afraid I won't be able to change my AAA vacation since it is all booked. I thought I was getting a great deal....now I'm not so sure! :confused3

This offer people are talking about. My daugter and I will being staying at the pop for 2 nights 12/27 and 12/28. This free dining everyone talks about. I assume there is a min. number of nights and so forth? Any chance whatever they are about to anounce could effect me in a good way?

We had our trip booked through CAA(same as AAA except in Canada) and then they came out with the free dining. We had another discount and since you can't have two discounts, the free dinig cost us--$240 for 5 of us for 6 nights-a great bargain in my eyes. You just have to watch for the discounts, then talk to your TA.

So is mine thru AAA. I had asked my TA a while back if the free dining came out, could I get it. She said yes. and keep my AAA discount. but it sounded like I would have to cancel my present package and rebook. Now that was when I had only put down the deposit. I just paid for the whole trip, so don't know what difference if any that would make. I'm still more than 45 days in advance.

I just left my agent an email asking her if something came out that I wanted, could I change and what would be involved. So, when I hear from her, I'll post her answer.

The suspense is starting to kill me.. I'll be online all weekend looking. I'm assuming it will be announced soon since the end of October is not that far away. :confused3

Yes, but there's nothing to stop you from wishing "on a star" :earsgirl:

Thanks for the replies. I don't mind losing my AAA discount on the room but it's the airfare I'm worried about. If I had to cancel & rebook I would lose my airline discount. In fact I checked & the return flight is already booked. The only reason I got such a great rate is because AA came out with the discounted flights but they were gone in a day. I hope I can just rebook the DW portion of our trip. I guess I will just have to wait & see what happens. I could be worrying for nothing.

Am I the only person hoping for extra nights instead of free dining?! We are already paying for dining, and free would equal CRAZY restaurant issues like they are mentioning now (during the current/past free dining period).... at least we already have ADRs. Oh, and not to mention the fact that those of us (probably everyone on this thread :)) that are already going are probably going now because of low crowds. I know that I've PROMISED my parents that their one and only time there will be virtually empty....... :confused3

For us, extra nights would be a MUCH better deal!

Whatever it is, hopefully it's a good one!

Found this in another thread here:

I think I know!!!!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I just got off the phone with a really nice CM at DD and I mentioned the excitment about the new possible discount coming out. She checked her email and she had one with a new offer coming. It is going to be $440 per adult for a 4 night stay in a standard Value room and this price would include a 5 day base ticket. Sounds like a great deal for someone.

Well for me free dining would be a big help because one of our party, my sister-in-law, is paying for her ticket and dining plan and I know her budget is tight. Whereas free room wouldn't help cause we're paying for that cause it's not much to include her in our room rate.

But if the other post turns out to be correct... this is all a moot point anyway. :earboy2:
