No documents yet and we did everything we could online, so no concerns!

Leave on November 30th for a couple days at DWV with boardwalk view. DVC members holiday get-together on Thursday late afternoon at Epcot. Dinner at V&A's on Friday night which should mostly tide us over until Parrot Cay!

We depart Friday the 1st after the kids get out of school around 2:30. It will take us about 1 hr to drive to the Residence Inn...He he he... That one hour is like torture though!

Lucky!! The traveling part is the part I could do without...five hours on the plane is no fun but DCL is worth it.

It will be hard not to rebook but we have the Hawaii cruise for next year and it will cost alot less then DCL and that includes airfare, hotels for a few days before and after the Hawaii cruise. We had a great time on the last three cruises but time to move on to other vacation destinations.

I'm a little late getting into this discussion, but I'm going too! This is my family's first cruise
My children are 6 and 9 and I'm sooooo excited I can hardly stand it!!!

We're staying at the Grand Floridian the 1st.

I'm not packing yet, but I think I've got everything I need. I am kind of waiting to see what the weather is like to figure out which clothes to pack.

Shorts, Pants any suggestions?

Welcome pumpkinbaby! We'll be traveling with our children, ages 5(gilr) & 8(boy) and we are getting very excited too. We've been waiting for what seems like forever and now it's almost here, woooooohooooo!!

The weather here in Florida has actually just started to get cold, or at least what we Floridian think is cold, lol. I'm pretty sure the Caribbean is going to be warm and I just had a friend get back from a similar cruise last week and she said it was in the 80's. I would say shorts during the day and pants in the evening, ugh, more to pack!

Good evening everyone

Welcome Pumpkinbaby I have a ds6 and a ds9.

I did not get my documents yet

We leave on Friday Dec 1st. We will pick the boys up from school a little early to make our 3:40 flight. We will drive down to Cape Canaveral to spend the night at the Residence Inn.

We are not planning on booking another cruise on board but you never know.

I have not make any door signs yet but I have been thinking about them. I am still intimidated by anything crafty.

My dd, 14, just loves Orlando Bloom so I have a few door sign surprises for her . A new "Orlando" sign for everyday of the week with messages for her.

I just transferred my Disney Visa points to a reward card and I have 200.00 in points collected that plus 200 onboard booking credit and 100.00 dreams unlimited...wahooo! lots of coffees at the Cove Cafe!

oh gosh my timer just hit 12 days for my depart.

With Tday coming and a few other things I will be busy and not dwelling on how close it is getting. DH DD and I went through our things last night after dinner to kinda back off on things to pack. We did not take a single thing out of our piles...eheheh...guess we need them.

I am surprised how excited my family is about this - it is awesome. Sadly my Dear nephew (14 3/4ys) got sick 5 months ago and lost all the hair on his head. He is on his way back to being ok - but the baldness is so upsetting him that he does not want to go on the cruise. I am trying to explain to him how no one will stare or make comments. At that age, he just does not beleive me. He is being taunted at school which makes it worse too. I am going to look around here for the next few days to see if there is anything like fake eyebrows or stuff like that so I can fix that problem for him. Doubt it - but anything to make this the best cruise for him. His hair will grow back in about a year, but tell a teenager that and a year is a lifetime.

Morning everyone!
Got our docs last night! Sounds like a bunch of us are in one location. We are in cabin 6610.

Our countdown is on 12 days. We are picking DS up from school on the 29th and taking a flight out at 5:30. We're spending a few nights at Pop Century before we head to the ship..

We are not planning on rebooking right now either. I think we may try Freedom of the Seas.

I really need to get to the door signs too. Just have to make it through this weekend and all obligations to other people will be done and can concentrate on the cruise.

Alwayslisad: You probably already thought of it but does your nephew have an email buddy? Maybe someone he could be comfortable with before he gets on the cruise. I wish I could help but mine is too young.

I have a DD 6 and a DS 9. I can't remember exactly what room, we're in 8546 I think. My door sign isn't too elaborate but I figure it'll work. Just a clipart ship and some mickey heads cut from home depot paint samples.

We're going to Victoria and Alberts Friday night too at 9:15!

I have no idea when I'll start packing! Right now I'm trying to finish a cross-stitch pillowcase to be autographed!
