Just got back from the Mets game tonight. What an exciting game. My ds9 and ds6 are such huge fans. I love to take them to the games just to watch them watch the game. Anyway the Mets won so it was a great night for us.

Woohoo! I got all happy thinking about the "less then 2 months" on Monday!

Today was a good day for me too. I decided after Kenya to go back to college and get my BA now that my kids are in school (I actually start 2 days after we get home from the Magic!!), but I needed 3 more units to transfer as a junior right into my major. So today I took a CLEP test for the last premajor class I needed (CLEP is like a big final test that grants a letter grade and college units, same as if you took the course) and passed. Woohoo!! I am a Junior... probably one of the oldest at my school, but a Junior nonetheless. Go class of 2008!

I know some of us would like to do a magnet exchange and I got this idea from another Dis'er...would anyone be interested in doing a exchange of something from our home state or city? another group on a diff. cruise are doing this and it sounded like fun and thought I would throw the idea out there...I will be bringing sand and sea shells from San Diego - no just kidding...

Let me know if that would interest anyone

Hi Cherimek! Yes, it would be like a magnet exchange for those interested.

I have never done it before, but have heard of other people doing it and having fun coming back to the staterooms and seeing some new magnets on the door. I also thought it would be fun to have one from the state or city you are from...just throwing the thought out there to see if anyone is interested.

Might sound kind of hokey to some or maybe I am just hokey

That sounds like fun. I was going to make something to hang on our doors, anyway. I have been on ebay buying my DD13 a "wench" outfit ( a peasant skirt and a peasant shirt. She thinks I'm nuts (as do all of her sisters), but I think she will enjoy dressing up for pirate night.

i see some people are going to home depot for magnet supplies i guess you make them yourselves ? will home depot have something to show me how? i would love to be part of the magnet exchange and would have a lot of fun making them with the kids thanks for any help !

I think people are going to Home Depot to pick up the Mickey shaped paper paint samples and then making something out of it...the Mickey shaped paint samples are supposed to be for chooing Mickey brand paint but well, some of the Diser's borrow them

I guess I would be bringing sand and seashells too only from FL....Or perhaps starfish and sand dollars from the bay. How would we do this? Just curious.

I can bring something from Nor Cal... maybe something from San Francisco. Or I could even bring something from Kenya. I just got asked to go back in November. I'll be flying home from Kenya and landing in SF at 1pm on Nov 30, and flying out of Oakland to Florida that night at 11pm. So if I'm a bit tired when we first meet.... I did go to Disneyland 2 days after getting home from the last trip so I should be okay.

Hey one idea could be to bring an ornament for the exchange since it will be Christmas time. Although my dd would flip over a starfish.

Dh is not going to be home until the end of Nov. so he will be tired too. He has alot of running around to do when he gets home, as he needs to go and get his suit and shoes. (He works out of state 9 months a year.) I think the excitement will fuel him though. He seems to be worse than the kids and I when it comes to being excited.

THe starfish and sand dollars are so cool to pick up out of the bay. I remember the first time my kids went and picked one up... Needless to say I don't like picking up strange creatures, harmless or not. (you can get into alot of trouble if you get caught removing them from the bay, so they always put them back even though they wanted to keep "JUST ONE"

One month and 20 days for me -- wowo it is getting so close - this rocks. I leave for Orlando next wednesday for a business trip - so I can scope out the Hyatt and other things too! so that will be fantastic. I wish it was this weekend though!!! I wanna disney cruise and i need it now!

I got a great E-mail today from our TA. I was so excited to hear we had been upgraded from our cat 5 to a cat 4, we are now officially in room 8058.

DH and I are very excited!!

way to go on the upgrade were on the same floor room 8568 just booked my airfare today im leaving nov 29 im gonna go to the magic kingdom on fri my girls have never been there its a surprise for them im packed ready to go my dmil says im worse than the kids oh well i guess that doesnt make me a bad person
